  1. There was talk of that ruling being overturned after someone bragged how they spiked on coffee...
  2. Not the first five cups, but from cup six onwards....
  3. What is DTF 2007?
  4. It's kinda pathetic that all the other girls have to go overseas to work for international racing points, so the we (SA) can send some girl/s to worlds and Olympics, and then the glory girl/team that stays behind to win the SA's title from a diluted field, is then selected to represent South Africa for Olympics, all because of the hard work of other girls and their team's anal attitude!!!! But Ja, isn't it more or less what we expect from that team???....
  5. You'll know the Vito if you see us on the road tomorrow!!!!
  6. Paolo Bettini for one, was very, very vocal in his resistance against giving DNA samples.... Does he have something to hide????
  7. I for One support ASO wholeheartedly, as they are the only ones with the balls to make a stand. They are incidentally also the ones that stand to lose the most, should people (Spectators / Sponsors, etc, etc) turn their back on the Tour, and therefore are fighting tooth and nail to get the riders to clean up their act, or refuse them entry.... The UCI doesn't give a sh*t!!, all they want is to lay their hands on the commercial rights to the Grand Tours through their precious Protour cock up!!!
  8. SA ladies team for China announced http://images.supersport.co.za/ChrissieVOljoenFeb07180.jpgThis week Cycling South Africa announced the Elite Ladies Team to take part in the Tour of Chongming Island in China from the 2nd to 6th of June 2007. The Team Cashandra Slingerland (Cycle Lab SuperCycling) Altie Clark (Cycle Lab SuperCycling) Robyn De Groot (Proline) Lynette Burger (Harmony) Chrissie Viljoen (Harmony) Anke Erlank Moore (Duravit) The team will be managed by Tony Harding. The tour is predominantly flat but the Island is characterized by strong winds. The tour comprises of a time trial followed by four road stages. This is very nice Congratulations Chrissie, Grapkas, Cashandra, Lynette, Robyn & Anke But, I have to ask this question??? Where is Princess & Marissa??? Is this a veritable attempt to eliminate all competition from the SA Championship race and hand the crown to Princess on a platter???? How can it be deemed a fair race if all of the opposition will not be there to participate??? Flat races is the forte of sprinters (Princess) and strong riders like Marissa, so why are they not included? Will it be a fair reflection if Proline wins in the absence of the other girls and competition?
  9. Once again, No rider from the Classics Dream Team - Quickstep in the top 10!!!!
  10. Paolini or Pozzato
  11. You guys just don't get it!!!! These riders are dirty, doped to the T And they are getting away with it.... well, so they thought. The Spanish was not interested in really bringing the cheaters to book, and shelved the case, as the judge felt that what they did was not dangerous to anybody else's health, and that, at the time, it was not an illegal process in Spain. ASO on the other had is doing something to clean up the sport, and it has nothing to do with finding a way for the Froggies to win the TdF It's about saving the Sport and making sure that the sport has a future If you don't get that, you'll never get it!!!!
  12. Italian cyclist Ivan Basso is set to face further investigations, including DNA testing, regarding his involvement in Operaci?n Puerto. Last October the Italian cycling federation (FCI) investigation against him was shelved on the direction of the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI), and he was freed to sign with Discovery Channel. However, Spanish weekly magazine Intervi? has published further papers detailing the 29 year-old's relation with Doctor Eufemiano Fuentes. Tuesday morning, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that there is interest from a Procura italiana (Italian public prosecutor, likely Bergamo anti-doping lawyer Cristina Rota) to have the bags of blood labelled 'Birillo' (allegedly Basso's dog's name) and with the number 2 brought from Madrid to Italy. It states that this transfer, like what was done in Jan Ullrich's case, could happen sometime in the coming week, where the prosecutor could then ask for a DNA sample from Basso. Subsequently, CONI announced on its website that it was reopening investigations, signifying a change of its stance on the issue. It has summoned Basso to its headquarters in Rome at 15.00 on May 2. This morning Ivan Basso was slated to arrive in Charleroi, Belgium for the start of the Fl?che Wallonne (Wednesday) and the Li?ge-Bastogne-Li?ge, but according to Belgian's HLN, Basso, under increasing pressure, will not start. (He faced similar pressure from his former team, CSC, at the end of 2006 when he missed out on the Giro di Lombardia.) Intervi? detailed previously unpublished papers connecting Basso with Fuentes. This article contained what it said was circumstantial evidence implicating the rider, including: 1) An agenda with a schedule of blood extractions and transfusions since 2004. In the agenda the pseudonyms 'Birillo' and '2' are used. 2) Payments in 2004 of around ?35,000 and another ?6000 for the freezing the blood (or "gastos de Siberia"), and an advance payment of ?70,000 in 2006 'to be defined individually'; there was also a message received from Fuentes in Italian which talks of a Zurich bank account. 3) The analyses of blood, which could have been done in November 2005 in Madrid, with haematologist Merino Batres, a collaborator of Fuentes. The Spanish Guardia Civil suspect that the cyclist visited Madrid at least three times but he has always denied being there. Further, the weekly magazine noted telephone recordings collected by the Guardia Civil, one that said 'Birillo had arrived with Simoni at sixteen seconds', This would seem to refer to Giro d'Italia stage seven, won by Rik Verbrugghe, where Basso finished 16 seconds back with Gilberto Simoni, Davide Rebellin and Serguei Gonchar.

  18. OK, so Let's lay it all out in the open... Engela Conradie = Dare Devil = Crazy Frog = Mynx.... All the same person Please don't think because I have Low Self Esteem that I am stupid. the veil that you are trying to hide behind is very transparent!!! Login In as Crazy Frog to give "some inside info" to clear your name when it is not true... now that's childish!!! Creating a new Alias minutes later (Mynx)(btw the correct spelling is actually Minx) to yet again justify all the other crap, and thinking we are all fools to believe it... now that's childish!!! Maybe you should heed some of your own advise... So stop being so childish and grow up!!!!

  22. Is that not the question that Landis, Lance, Basso, Jan et al should have asked before visiting Fuentes and the other Spin Doctors???!!!!
  23. Landis had representatives present at the tests to observe the process and ensure that there is no foul play involved... But I'm sure they will try and find a different angle to try and discredit the system It's the same old tactic used by all "Innocent little cycling victims that test positive" and Lance to try and discredit the testing authorities and processes!!!!
  24. Nee Oom BigH Jy kan nie spel nie Dis nie Gengela Konradie nie, Dis Engela Conradie HKEC!!!!!! (Hier Kramp Engela Conradie)
  25. Paris - Urine samples from cyclist Floyd Landis taken during his contested win in the 2006 Tour de France have tested positive for the banned substance testosterone, L'Equipe sports daily reported on Monday. On its website, L'Equipe reported that "B" samples belonging to the American had been tested retrospectively following a request from the US Anti-Doping Agency (Usada). Leading the prosecution case against Landis, Usada successfully appealed to an arbitration panel that seven "B" urine samples belonging to Landis be tested at the French laboratory which processed his original, and disputed, positive test.
