I got it yesterday from the mud. I run Shimano XT/SLX mixed groupset. I noticed the suck happens at the rear derailer wheels, think the mud might clog up the bearings on the RD then it stops and the suck happens. Did a good wash and lube and all seems to work fine now.

Im going to be there, can't wait!

Yesterday when we went cycling going down Bosmansdam Rd as you turn off Plattekloof Rd, some d@@s in a black Polo vivo with a chrome strip on the bootlid bottom just above the bumper had thrown my friend with an egg... It sucks what happened to you, did you get some details of the car? Unfortunately you get people like this, I had a similar incident before except he did not expect me to stop at his side at the red robot and take him out of his car...I think his wife/gf cleaned a nice brown stain the night.

I know what you mean, I meant the slammer is spectator friendly, not to far out. Once there is more proper XC tracks which is more spectator friendly and easy to get to then sure why not.

The slammer is there, why not use it? To build more proper XC tracks will take to much time and money... Im keen for the XC racing, I noticed PPA is lacking some events this spring so guess this would be ideal! Same as the Polkadraai Crit, awesome route with great road surface and enough parking for now

Very well written and I agree 100%...problem is they always throw the race card although the younger generation was never really involved in it, kind of sad...because the young talent moves out of SA so eventually there will be no more talent left due to them always standing in the back of the line.

Ray, when is the sprint hotspots during the race?

I did my first crit the weekend, loved it! Racing is hard, pace is fast and I think this is promoting cycling and can defenitely see the sport grow! We need some proper racing, yes the PPA races is nice....but this truly will promote the sport. Would be awesome if we can get a crit in town, through the streets...spectators will defenitely come watch! Imagine racing along the promenade in town. Awesome job Lights by Linea!
