  1. That is what I use....it is so awesome, I am thinking of buying another one in a different colour.
  2. I got me the Power2Max Rotor crank, it also gives your pedal stroke, etc. The garmin pedals is going to be very expensive, and another thing is should you crash you might need to replace the pedal (I had a crash where my pedal broke). The Power2Max comes with a 3 year crash replacement policy. I was sceptical to buy Power2Max...but I am very happy I did and overall I get everything I need. It also looks cool
  3. I already did mine...but starting to wonder if it was a good idea
  4. Yes, he is a awesome down to earth person. ASG sponsored him the bike when he did the Barodeur movie as ASG was also the place who invested into the movie.
  5. I get them sometimes, I just ride through it...sometimes it is crap sore, but I got used to it....just ride through the pain. So they come and go....
  6. Jy moet super trots op haar wees!!
  7. I dont really think they realise the effort in cycling....Impey had to cycle every stage to stay in the top there, he had to defend his title....4-5hours of hard cycling a day....and the others only play for 90min or swim for 1min... To be honest I think having a SA rider wearing the yellow jersey in the Tour de France is like Bafana winning a world cup...probably one of the best achievements for a long time.
  8. Got hit twice already this winter...still trying to shake this one but just cant seem to win. Congrats on a awesome ride, you doing well!
  9. ride it until it breaks and then claim?

  11. We had an average team and we did a 6:18 and the weather sucked. We were consisting of 4 elites and the rest was D-F riders...however if everyone in a team is strong you will be able to do a very good time, but also constantly changing between riders in the front will help keep the pace high.
  12. I run Conti Gatorskin tubbies with sludge....works well...I know some people use stans. The gators you can easily unscrew the valve and add the valve adapter. Kind of strange you cant unscrew the hole valve as how will you ft a valve extender?
  13. True...but you don't want it to end up becoming a corporate event.
  14. You will still need to find your own accomodation...gets to expensive. Hopefully the weather is better than last year...but I entered 94.7 so will go there instead.
  15. Sorry but this is lame...
  16. I agree here...as Stefan, Louis, Darren will probably all be racing the 3rd at Die Burger.
  17. For a long time the insurance on my bike was more than my car....so then I just upgraded my car...
  18. Anyone who knows of Accomodation? I broke up with my girlfriend and they sold my tent....ARGH! Now I need to find a place to stay...so ladies, if you looking for a sexy hunk to accompany you please feel free to inbox me...haha!
  19. Change in position is what I do. I ride during the week between 1h 30min - 2h on my indoor trainer per day. Sometimes I ride on the drops, on the hoods en also on the top of the bar...it seems to work well. Also make sure your bike is level. I do most my winter training on my IDT.
  20. I don't see why this is necessary...myself can be proof in a way. At one stage I weighed around 112kg....I took a major step towards a healthy life, started eating healthily and exercise, went to a dietician who gave me an awesome meal plan... I am currently 78kg's (will drop next month when I prep for league again), I still cheat quite often....I am sure if I didnt I would have been around 70kg's now. But really surgery should be the last resort, the hardest was making the changed....the first few weeks....but I got into a habit and just eat properly, etc. I am not saying because I did it you can, I just want you to consider various options.
  21. I will rather stay quiet...before I make some uncalled remarks.
  22. It is only trespassing if it says so... If one cyclist rides like a tjop we all get the blame....same case here....anyway I am not going to debate this. I know which development team I have seen at the event so...
  23. Ok what other youth team arrives with their coaches and a trailer?
  24. This part says it all "Upon arrival, they found the team members and coach busy loading the bicycles onto a trailer. A search of the trailer led to the recovery of all three bikes."
