  1. So it is an issue with IndieVelo/TPV, I tried again on IndieVelo to connect last week, still cant get my watch/HRM to connect, did a ride on Zwift after that, connected no problem, downloaded and setup TPV, wont connect to my watch/HRM, very frustrating
  2. Blown, zero damping, bouncing like a pogo stick
  3. Happened to my Schwalbe tyre as well, after like 3 months, I think they may be poor quality tyres
  4. Ya, probably the same guy, black and green dual sus and his friend was on a yellow road bike, old Trek I think
  5. Saw a dude on a dual sus mtb that had a blown rear shock, made me feel sea sick watching him bounce around the road
  6. I have 12 speed SLX on my bike and it shifts perfectly, never have any problems with it, and it very rarely ever needs any adjusting
  7. I haven't seen any with anything to hold that flap open, but have seen many people doing many different macguyver moves to keep that flap open, loads of things you could potentially do
  8. I also use one of these ratcheting cargo pole things https://www.outdoorwarehouse.co.za/product/securetech-cargo-bar-ratchet-type I put it as high up in the load bed as possible and just far enough forward that it pushes your front wheel out a little bit further over the back of the tailgate, sort of wedging the rear tyre under the cargo bar, this helps keep the bike a little sturdier, and then I also put 2 elastic bunjee straps on the front wheel so the wheel doesnt spin around and the it cant flop around and hit the bumper. It is a little bit of a mission to get everything setup nicely, but once it is done, loading and unloading the bike is a breeze

  10. Same same for me I had the Freerider Pro, and honestly, thought they were pretty swak for what they are supposed to be, didnt even last me 2 years and soles had holes in and started delaminating, the 2FO grip far better in my experience, and they seem to be lasting better as well
  11. I am somewhere in that picture 🤣
  12. How much are they worth to you 😋 I have from SRAM Codes, with the little matchmaker nut, if they will work, and you can make a plan to get them to you....
  13. Mixed bag of feelings for this one, happy I finished but not really happy with my time or decisions on the day. On the highway leading up to Woodmead, I am terrible with road names so I dont know what highway it is, I was having a decent time, till I noticed some wheelsuckers on me, I am big so naturally, on the downs I am pretty fast, anyway, at one point I commented and asked if they are enjoying the tow, to which I got a few laughs, and they said they would return the favour, so I thought I would push a little harder to get a good pace going, and they did help out a little here and there, but everytime they got on the front the pace dropped quite a bit, so just because I am an idiot, I stayed on the front more than I should have, anyway, at the water point just before Woodmead, the road got a little crowded and people just weren't riding so lekker, and the 3 dudes that were riding with me just disappeared ahead 🫠 and from there on it was kinda lonely, joined the odd group till Kyalami, tried to recoup from burning myself out, but my left Hammie was really upset with me, so I just kinda plodded along from there, I knew my day was over. My consolation prize, 2 of the guys that dropped me, I caught and passed on Jan Smuts, and the last guy I caught and passed on the M2 just after the last waterpoint, glad I beat them 🤣🤣 from there I think the guys name is Mike, from Carbon Bike Repair, we rode and chatted a little and he gave me a nice pull for the last stretch which was pretty fun. Ag well, goals not met, but it was still a lekker day out with no incidents, so it was a good day 💪🏼
  14. Spez 2FO. Best flat pedal shoe I have tried
  15. Ah, nevermind @Frosty, I dont know how I messed up, but I am starting in N not G 🤦‍♂️ thanks for the offer though
  16. Yes, my issue is exactly that Oli as well, every time I am trying to just do a nice Z2 ride, it lands up with me seeing the res mist because you need to try catch up, and then I REALLY struggle to slow down again and land up just pushing hard the rest of the ride
  17. Excellent, thank you, I have a bright blue jersey, and riding a blue Raliegh RC
  18. If it makes you feel any better, the sleepless nights and anxiety of the ride is overflowing for me, so maybe I am panicking for you 🤔 On a side note, to the rest of you people who may be snooping around here, I am in batch G, and looking to finish in under 3:30, is there anybody else in the same/similar start batch with the same goal? Looking to maybe join some guys to make it a little more "doable"
  19. So I am still using IndieVelo, will download TPV now though since the IndieVelo server will be closed next week, but 2 things I been finding extremely frustrating on IndieVelo, on the pacer rides, the power outputs are VERY inconsistent, and the group will drop you in a couple seconds if you just like 5 watts out of range, even though there is supposed to be like a 30 watt spread in the group, not a problem I ever had on Zwift. And 2nd. I use my watch for a HRM but for the last few weeks it just will not connect, I have tried making sure there are no other devices with Bluetooth on in the area, turning my phones Bluetooth off and keeping the trainer off while trying to connect the watch, nothing works, hopefully at least this will be resolved on the TPV app, also not something that was not ever a problem on Zwift
  20. I had an EVOC pad, and wanted to get another one, but they are really expensive in my opinion, ended up getting the Titan Racing pad, the EVOC has some nicer features that make it a little easier to fit and remove, but overall, I have found the Titan Racing one to work very nicely, and the price is very reasonable
  21. Could you elaborate on why? A lot of what he says makes sense to a pleb like me, but maybe that is just because I "want" it to make sense?
  22. Yes great, but can they fix a possible injury sustained from a fall caused by a frame braking when landing a big jump? Oops, saw someone already brought this uo
  23. For that amount of money I would expect them come to in something a little more substantial than a doublewall cardboard box.... Anyway, where are the builds? We have waited long enough gosh darnit.
  24. I am 183cm, Large Slash fit me well, an XL would feel like a boat, being 15 and 184cm now also doesnt necessarily mean you are going to grow much more, your growth may slow down significantly, so buying a size up may not work, it is a bit of a difficult situation you are in
  25. And you think spark eroding or wire cutting will be cheap?
