  1. If you are selling something, and I want to buy over BikeHub pay, we are in different provinces, we agree on amount yada yada, you send me the parts, but I "don't recieve" them, I tell BikeHub I never recieved th bits, you have no actual proof if I recieved them or not, the signed courier waybill means someone got it, not necessarily me. Yes some couriers you need a pin to recieve the goods, or PostNet you need your ID, but I regularly get stuff from couriers without needing any proof of ID, Scammers can take advantage of those situations
  2. Bikehub pay is safer for a buyer than it is for a seller, sellers can still be scmmed with bikehub pay
  3. The stems hole is smaller than the steerer tube diameter, how on earth is a bush going to solve this guys problem?
  4. Ding ding ding.... you're welcome 😜
  5. Sorry to be that guy, but did you check all four of the washers/spacers?
  6. Really nice looking bike, but I would prefer to have mechanical GX and Code RSC brakes on the Elite model, and maybe a 200mm rotor up front, doing that they could even drop the price a little, brakes and suspension are far more important than drivetrain on this kind of bike, in my opinion atleast
  7. Ok thanks, looks like I will just have to swallow my pride and go for the Motorex then, it is very close to Maxima plush, slightly better in fact, and much MUCH cheaper Also, after having read through this thread, I am quite pleased to see that slideway oil can be used for the lowers, now when my fox gold is done, I can just pinch some slideway oil from work 🤣🤣🤣
  8. Ya, but that is KTM oil, and well, need I say more 🤣🤣
  9. Its a 2021 Rockshox Lyrik select+, dont think it has any warranty anymore
  10. Question for @drooand @DieselnDust I want to do a damper service on my fork, and I am just wondering what damper fluid would be best? Is a normal fork damper fluid ie Motul factory line 2.5w fork oil a better choice than say Motul High VI 400 shock oil? And what is the reasoning?
  11. Slight thread jack, anyone know what to use to remove powder coating?
  12. When did dogs learn to type????😬
  13. So just a direct mount derailleur surely? Doesnt the T Type only really work as AXS because with the electronic shifting they can "time" the shifts to be at the perfect spot? That isn't possible with a mechanical system
  14. I will try that as well, although, I did actually open my eyes and looked properly on their website last night, and found both an email and a phone number 🤣 so sent an email, I bought the pack from Takealot, so I thought going straight to CCS will be easier, will have to try both avenues...
  15. Slight thread jack here, CCS seems to be the importer for Camelbak, and my packs bladder has got a small hole in it, how can I contact them to try make a warranty claim? On their website there doesnt seem to be a way for private individuals to contact them?
  16. Its probably because Enduro seal is a South African brand and isnt made by Merida
  17. When I just got my coffee machine, a mate came over to help me set it up nicely, we went through a 250g bag of beans getting it dialled, now, we didnt drink every coffee that we made, but I did have a taste of every shot we made, and man oh man, that meme is 100% spot on, thank goodness it was on a Friday evening
  18. Pretty sure he is working with kpa, 140kpa would be roughly 1.4bar
  19. I normally run around 23-25psi front and 25-28psi rear, however I recently tried running 30psi front and 33psi rear, did not notice any real loss in traction, but, I am definitely able to hit corners faster with more confidence, I would regularly roll tyres at the lower psi, but with the higher psi, now trye squirm and on top of that, no pings on the rims, so I will definitely be sticking with higher pressure, negligible loss in traction, less tyre squirm and added rim protection
  20. Did you not blow up a wheel with your DH casing Maxxis tyre? 🤔🤔🤫🤫
  21. We have a neighbour with chickens and ducks in there yard 🤔 and you have seen where I stay, not exactly farms or plots 🤣🤣
  22. I used to use my USWE backpack from my dirtbike days when I started cycling, they are are comfy and dont move around, but got a Camelbak Repack, the waist pack, it was a game changer, 1.5l bladder is big enough for every ride I have done, it is also comfortable, you dont really notice it after a couple minutes riding, but the biggest advantage for me, is your back can breathe, I get super hot when riding, and not having a backpack on keeps you MUCH cooler
