  1. Ya, in my experience this time around with them, I have to phone before Charl will reply to my email. Previously when I bought from them they were actually really good, responded and delivered the goods really quickly, this time has just been ridiculous, I dont think I will be supporting them again, not if this is the kind of service we can expect
  2. Also struggling with them at the moment, Charl to be precise, been waiting 2 weeks to for stuff, last they told me was that they were going to ship it on Monday, but still have not received anything.... The worst part is, I ordered some stuff from CRC the week AFTER I ordered from bike addict, and that is already with me and on my bike, yet I am still waiting for bike addict to ship my parts
  3. Wolwespruit is very well maintained, some of the flow lines are closed for renovation/upgrades, but most of the trails are open and flowing nicely Grootfontien is also in good condition and very little mud around
  4. I have a set of those Skitch bars I am selling if you are interested
  5. If you dont mind me asking, what do you weigh? And that 52km, what elevation gain was there? And did you play around with the assist levels on the ride, or did you just leave it in eco for the entire ride?
  6. Must also remember to take into account the extra to the circumference that the tyre will add, a 29" x 2.2 tyre will read a different speed to a 29" x 2.4 or 2.6 tyre because of the extra size
  7. My buddies 29" Turbo Levo also has the wheel set at 2000mm, and his assist goes to well over 40km/h, but you cant actually change it, Specialized has locked that size, you cant change it on the app
  8. At R320 a pair, plus the hassle of having to import them and the crazy customs duties that also needs to be added to the price, I hope they put themselves on your feet, take themselves off and wash themselves as well before the next use
  9. I had a Wavecell helmet, sold it shortly after I got it, it just gets too hot, the ventilation is terrible. A side note though, I cant remember which Bontraget helmet it was, but the MIPS version was extremely uncomfortable, it had 2 "pressure points" it pushed on my head, that actually hurt, even just for the 10 seconds I had it on in the shop, same happened with a Specialized helmet I tried, but the Fox helmets I have now didnt do that, so definitely make sure you test fit them before buying.
  10. I had to pay 15% vat and whatever the DHL service fee is
  11. I think with it being the festive season and end of the year, it may be delayed a bit compared to normal
  12. Free shipping, I always take the free shipping option, I am a cheapskate like that 🤣
  13. That is strange, like I say, I bought a set of wheels from CRC, and a couple other odds and ends in the same order, also took the cheapest shipping option, and they landed up in my hands within 4 days through DHL
  14. What is a "larger" item? I have brought in wheels and they came with DHL
  15. I love my Maxxis Dissectors, I run them front and rear and I haven't had any problems with them wearing to fast, or the side knobs ripping off, I have heard people saying the same as you, but in my experience, they are amazing tyres
  16. Normally in your shins at unexpected intervals...
  17. There are "Sam Hill" edition for both the Enduro and Down Hill pedals
  18. To the guys saying the Nukeproof Horizon pedals are so good, is that experience with the Enduro or DownHill flat pedals? Or does it not really make a difference?
  19. I have been to his house, I can confirm, there is very little space left for anything after the bicycle parts.....
  20. Another broduro gravel grind... We really do live in a beautiful country.
  21. A little gravel grind on the enduro rig 🥵🤣
