I have heard so many mixed reports about the Fizik though. Some love and some hate the saddle. I am prepared to buy a new saddle but am reluctant to purchase something that won't work. And then I will have 2 uncomfortable saddles

What is the price of an Arione ? Scorpione - thx, will look at those SSM, and yes they are UGLY, but I guess its about comfort. Anyone had any experience with Specialized BG saddles?

Hey MD, you must be joking. I look at that and I just see PAIN !!! But then again, with your weight you wont even cause any flex in the saddle !

I currently use a Selle Italia Thoork gel which is great and very comfortable (although I may be a bit heavy for it - I think). My problem is that once the ride time goes over three hours it gets extremely uncomfortable (Read PAIN !!!) very fast. I initially thought it was just a case of waiting and allowing for some quality "bonding" time between my butt and saddle but with the DC coming up I am considering buying another saddle for loooonng rides. my dream bike - nice (although I passed a few on Sunday's race. Some skinny cycling dudes on their R3's being passed by an overweight dude on an aluminium BMC is not supposed to happen surely)
