I used 2300 cal at WCE @89%HR (not accurate as estimated by Polar at 220-age I presume) but I am substantially heavier and more unfit.

Thanks for reminding me MrsC especially just when my blood pressure was starting to subside. There are also NO REFUNDS !!!! Now I really don't mind the no refund policy but at least allow substitutions. What is with that !! A little more admin work. I won't even go to the replies I got when I tried to get substitutions for my Argus entry's (3 of them) as I am riding in a corporate group. They said that, although substitutions are allowed, they would be reluctent to assist with my particular situation as it would be more admin work - COME ON !!!racman2007-11-08 03:47:03

Guys you won't believe flippin ridiculous actions that have just occurred - If I had a Goldfish I would drown it I am so flippin P'ed off !!!! Popeye e-mailed them asking about the possibility of a substitution and gave them my name, ID & ref number. They (Pat White) then replies via e-mail and states that there are no substitutions allowed AND they will immediately cancel my entry - just like that !!!! no correspondance with me - NOTHING, NADA, ZIP F#$% ALL!!! As Popeye stated - what if he had enquired about a substitution with David George - would they have just cancelled his entry as well !!! Still wearing it in but seems better for me so far. Normal fine adjustment stage now but will do a long ride on the weekend and check. Hijack - I have a almost new Selle Italia Thoork that I might sell. Only done 250km on. Excellent saddle but due to me being rather heavier (getting lighter by the week though) it was painfull after about 2 hours.

I got a flippin wedding in JHB I have to go to as it's close familly. (close familly means close enough to be offended if you don't go or buy a small present ) If they were that close they should have known about the race and been more considerate. I must be stoooopid but I seem to be having a problem with the Polar file recall. Every time I finish a ride it stores the info into the files ok, but when I view the files, every file shows the same info including date, time etc. etc. So even on after 10th ride for example, the file storage will show 10 files but when I go to each file number I get the same info as the last store. Am I missing something of should I take it back to my LBS? racman2007-11-07 05:29:09

Just need to check something here. If I get to a Red Robot and there is no traffic coming from left or right I then turn slightly and cross in the pedestrian crossing lines. I suppose I could get off and walk in the lines which would be legal, but I ride at a slower pace. Would this be considered irresponsible and illegal or acceptable? If it is early in the morning and there is NO traffic, including behind me, then I will sometimes slow down but run the Red. This would be a no-no but I don't see any harm.

I have found that the best position is with the rails on the underside and the soft bit on the top !! Also helps to have the "pointy" side facing the front otherwise you will experience serious pain
