  3. I have conti tubes with slime in. Good for training 'cos it's heavy!! And no punctures. Try tyre liners if you want
  4. I found a 10 speed Centaur groupset with carbon cranks for 6k on the hub... Just keep an eye on the hub, I won't be surprised if you walk away with a bike worth 35k. The wheels and frame is important
  5. can't believe that's where we rode 2 months ago in 45 degrees celsius...now it's freezing!!
  6. I also have a few shops I visit frequently. After a few years you actually know a few mechanics and a few salesman, who will all be friendly to you and help you, because they know you.
  7. Wow!! He tried to explain himself like 13 times, but his brain stalled everytime!! Just shows you what a joke the Youth League actually is.

  11. Hi hubbers, I'm planning to go to Belgium (leaving first week of June) for the holidays to do some racing and just spend some time with my bike. I was just wondering if anyone knows of someone that lives there where I can stay at? I have mailed a few people and still waiting for them to reply, so I just want a backup in case I don't get a place to stay. I don't want to be homeless when I arrive in Brussels.. If you have a contact number or e-mail address, it would be kind if you can PM it to me. Thanks!!
  12. you in yourself bro? I'm in me?? Nope - had a near crash (took off a dudes ratchet from his shoe with my front wheel) just before the hectic guttering started and wasn't strong enough to make it to the bunch that split up in pieces - I've never raced in this kind of wind... Tomorrow is another day... it's a really cool experience though - we live to learn!! Opps - forgot I'm logged in with Jos's name It's me, Flemish Lion...

  17. I have tyre liners on my training wheels (road) and also those tubes from Kenda with the pre-inserted slime. Started riding with it in May and havn't had one puncture since then. It's heavy, I know, but when I go do races with my racing wheels it feels like a dream!!
  18. Phen sien jou daar buddy.
  19. I was also wondering...
  20. don't really know exactly what the effects of drinking is. BUT, I've done a few races on a Sunday after I was hammered the Friday or Saturday night and had good results. I guess that has to do with the glycogen levels in your body and liver. But I've also had a few sh*t races after I went out the previous night...
  21. and jupiter is moving faster than venus so i guess jupiter is nearer to us?
  22. Mr. Tekramz Not everyone is a sprinter my friend. That's why I went on a counter attack 200m from the line, the same reason David went 1km from the line. Moolman and Hannachi and Martin are pure sprinters. I'm also against Hannachi for appealing, don't know what his story is. Jacque jv Rensburg was in the break with us and came last in the sprint, because he isn't really a sprinter, but still one of SA's best cyclists. So I don't really understand what you are trying to do by tuning the elites. I'm sure a lot of people doesn't take you seriously anyway. But thanks for going through the trouble of signing in as a new member to hide your identity.
  23. quite a sexy one
  24. actually it was 94.77778. But I rounded it off a bit
