But I do concur - I thought the big boys were taking a break this weekend...... but then again DL is in stealth mode and not popping his head up in too many places.

I never said anything about old fat guys on MTB's but I never expected DL to be there...... it'll make for really interesting racing though.

Remember what happened at the Klein Joostenberg / Dunlop Cup race..... don't do it man! You will definitely be able to hang on / ride with the bunch.

Scary bit is that I know of a rider that is doing the race who also rides elite league bunch....... finishes in the bunch though so dunno how much work he'll bring to the mix

Loads of rollers! Out on Adderley and Philadelphia roads....... think the last few Km from the Silo's in the Durbanville High School race - now we are doing it in reverse.

Gonna be a tough ride buys: Please do not compare your start group with your PPA seeding as each group in the 123km route is only made up of approximately 70 riders.

As fandacious and andre traut pointed out, this weekend is the only weekend off for league riders, so I bet there aren't many of them entered due to cost and racing load - hence us making the elite bunch...... gonna be tough should a good number of elite league riders pull though for this race.

Yeah I understand that you don't get the 'heavy' early entry fee as well as the 'heavier' late entry fee, but it just feels to me that you are trying to sabotage any thread to do with the 99'er....... or is it just me?
