  2. How the eff!!!!! I got: Start Group: A Start Time: 06:27 Edit: means that you are in Vets 40+...... gonna be a tough one man!
  3. Autocad?
  4. Yeah, we end up paying it automatically when you renew your membership with PPA every year.....
  5. http://www.facebook.com/cycletourtrust Cape Town Cycle Tour Trust We're busy with the final Cycle Tour seeding calculations and hope to send the e-mail tonight. Unfortunately it's not a simple one-button-click-calculates-all process and we want to ensure that we're as close to accurate as can be. Thanks for your patience! 9. 'Dale, I guess you were checking on the lightweights behind you?
  10. Agreed, but as geraldm24 says, it doesn't automatically include you in the Vets bunch - it still places you there on merit. If there is only 500 spaces in the bunch and you are, say number 510, you will be seeded in the normal bunches. Just saying that you may waste your money by getting a racing licence if you don't have a chance in getting the racing group you want. Edit: and I am assuming you want to do this for the Argus?
  11. a bit low but
  12. 5 minutes....... maybe 10 - but that is post training anyway (or post anything while not training)
  13. You have your seeding already? If so, I don't have mine yet.
  14. Which reminds me to upload my rides tonight - I haven't done it in a while.
  15. It's coz they don't have speed walking as an option
  16. not to be rude, but maybe you are going so slow that it could be interpreted as running? Just a joke guys
  17. I always have a post race chocolate steri stumpi (or two), and always have milo or nesquik as a post ride recovery drink after a hard ride.
  18. Well I never got bumped - I sprinted from about 500m odd out. Like you say, once you go over the FINISH line, the race is finished. Don't race me to the mats and pip me in the results I beat you. Punt klaar! That is just going to make me practice my sprint more and drop the guys with 150m to go
  19. Nothing wrong with it - I would just like to see the fruits of my effort - At one point on Sunday, I was convinced I was going to get dropped. That is how much my legs were burning. For them to take 9min30 off the winners time to make their calc's work, means that either the field is getting stronger, or the elites (and the rest of us) are getting slower. I based an estimated seeding calc on the winners time, my time and last year's beta index of 0.96 - I got a race index of 4.95 odd. With the added time, and adjusted beta of 0.97 I got an index of 11.055 - BIG difference. Makes it a bit demotivating.
  20. Yeah, they are the lot that want to sit in the front 25% of the bunch (for just in case there is a break) but somehow never actually make it to actually do some work off the front
  21. Those wheels are shaxxy I agree!!!
  22. Thanks for the A number 'Dale - metropolitan kit, right hand side of the pic.
