  2. From what I have heard, and I stand to be corrected, take an old frame or bike with you and replace it with the new one when returning

  4. +1, you should have hogtied her ass!
  5. Daai jaar was my eerste en ergste een. We finished at 2:35. Was cold as hell!! Well done for finishing at that time
  6. Same here, Baviaans is no more than 2900m
  7. Straight or tapered. Just need to change the headset.
  8. It does the same to me too, always seems to blow for the side and against me!
  9. And take some extra water with you. I always use a 1/3 more fluids riding in heavy winds
  10. Give this man a Bells!
  11. The Baviaans is made for a hardtail. Lots of "tar" dirt roads as I like to call it. I'm running a tire pressure of 1,8 at the back and 1,6 at the front. Just make sure you put your old 26er's saddle on your new bike
  12. Check my post above
  13. http://www.huskyresc...2014-06-01.html Please join the Barking Army Team! Me and IanJ has already joined. Going to be a blast!

  15. Thanks, Will try this with my next replacement that is due any day
  16. I use a hammer to remove the bearing and then I just press a new one in. Just gently tap it out from the opposite side. But I do agree, the Shimano system is much easier to maintain and lasts longer
  17. That 47.62km/day. Not that impressive
  18. Still can't get my head around that Are you guys riding this year? Looking forward to your race report
  19. If you really want to make this Gif worthwhile, post the front view version of it
  20. Can't help you with the transportation, but bring a few bottles of that awesome craft beer with you for me. Sure it will go down nicely after the race
  21. Got the same feeling yesterday. But anything can happen. Don't mind water on the route, as long as it's not falling on me from above Had a bad training weekend. Got sick last week Monday and was on antibiotics. Did a XCO race on Saturday and the lungs could not keep up with the legs. My gat gesien op lap die laaste twee laps. Yesterday I went for a solo 88km ride and the wind nailed me the last 44km as I rode straight into it. To make matters worse, I struggled with tired legs and lungs and a front tire and rear tire that somehow picked up 60+ thorns per tire and had to stop every now and again to let the little sealant left do it's work.
  22. Just confirm with the organizers if you are still able to do it.
  23. You can not buy only one entry, you can only replace the existing team mate who is not able to compete.
  24. Wow Scale he is beautiful! As for the snapping, give a couple of weeks. Fostered a Husky that was two years old and she was not used to attention, think she was neglected and had very little human interaction. She always snapped at us if we tried to pet or groom her. Now she loves attention!! We also kept her and she has a furever home now. Can't believe how much she has changes in 5 months
