  4. If you have cash to spend, try Shimano XT, or SLX thats a bit cheaper but still a great brake. What are you going to do with the Hayes?
  5. I'm running 760mm with a 60mm stem on my SS. It's the bike that handles the best from all my bikes
  6. Nothing wrong with that combo. Like everyone said, rather upgrade something else.
  7. I'm in the same boat but it does not bother me, I'm 29 and been weighing 68kg/70kg for 12 years and eat double what my brother eats in a day and he weighs 85kg and battles with weight. I don't mind cause I eat what I want when I want. Drink all the beer and Brandewyn and coke as I please and I'm fit and healthy
  8. Hi Uni, sorry for only replying now. He's name is Dexter and his doing great and the surgery was a success. Picked him up yesterday at Onderstepoort and it was a stressful drive home but we made it safely. Must keep him in a crate for 6weeks so that he can not jump or run by himself. He can walk on the leg that they did the surgery on but he still has pain. Luckily I can take short walks with him on a leash. The people at Onderstepoort were brilliant and kept me updated every day on how he was doing. Dexter is currently living with me as a foster dog and this whole story would not have been possible if not for the AWESOME people at Husky Rescue helping with all the arrangements to make this surgery on Dexters knee possible and to give him a second chance in life. Will post a pic of him later. He's going to come to work with me for 6 weeks and already made him a comfortable house in a old pig sty here on the plot our business is on.

  13. Just arrived back in Bloem, he is going for surgery to fix his cranial cruciate ligament. Its a big operation and a loong recovery process after the surgery. He went in for surgery this morning and waiting for news on how it went. Hopefully I can go and fetch him early next week. Thanks for all the well wishes
  14. Drove all the way this morning at 3:00 to Onderstepoort from Bloem to take a Husky that I've rescued to have a huge operation. Still waiting for news on how it went. Hope everything is ok
  15. Bastards! I'm keeping thinking to myself if the tik kop would have shot the guy if he tried to ride away.
  16. Shame, glad he's feeling better. He's still relatively young and hope he gets well soon
  17. How is Tumbles doing today? How old is he?
  18. Not to take anything away from Sagan, but Fontana is a legend Mtber as well. I dig his style on and off the bike

  20. Shame man, hope he's ok
  21. Just remember, these sensors was not made to be opened. If you can replace the battery more than once, see it as a bonus and not having to spend money to buy a new one.
  22. Dont know. Probably wont be a hassle with a very sharp cutter
  23. I used pratleys wonder glue on my WIND sensors. Still going strong after 1 year. Take a look at this youtube vid.
  24. Just a tip. Always take photos of the assembled unit before taking it apart. Always help if you struggle to put it back together
