  1. Here is my second SS project. Received my VERY green Momsen steel frame yesterday Ordered my carbon rigid fork today, it's has a 15mm Thru axle and its tapered Going to use my old Cannondale Sun Ringle wheels. Had new VERY green decals made from a hubber for the wheels and going to replace the front lefty hub with a black Rapide hub The crank is going to be XT 3×10 converted to a 32T single blade For the cockpit I only currently have this stem Still have not made up my mind on the bar, seatpost and saddle. Most probably going to be black The brakes I'm using an old set of SLX brakes.

  7. Ofm just confirmed that they will retire the OFM Classic as of today. http://www.ofm.co.za/article/National/150332/The-Ofm-Classic-retires This is terrible news and with the few road cycling events left in the Freestate, I'm afraid that this is the last nail in the coffin. Sad day for FS Cycling
  8. Racing Ralph Tires, it costs as much as my cars tires
  9. 2011 - Time 3:14, weight was 68kg, Avg watts was 177. Power was measured with a Polar Wind Power Meter 2013 - Weight was 68kg, bike weight unknown Time 3:19 - Avg watts was 164. So I reckon 250 will do the trick

  17. Ja verseker. Gaan 'n awesome race wees. Die klimme daar gaan jou baie meer help as plat Bloemfontein. Baie lifts daarna toe so skree maar net
  18. WHAT?? Ry jy nie Ficksburg race nie?
  19. Thats a good thing for us, but not good for the locals...bad roads on a mtb and bad roads with a bakkie is two different stories. One thing that I am curtain of is that it's going to be a cold one

He is hopefully busy spraying a crank for me
  21. My dream last year was to ride up M.A.C in daylight. Was the best sunset I have ever seen. This year I'm putting my GoPro in box #4 just in case.
  22. Lights in chp #3 is the safest option. To not make it to this checkpoint in daylight will require a special kind of unfitness.
  23. I wish we had the balls to pack our lights in box #4. Target this year is to ride down the mountain after Bergplaas in daylight
  24. Ja kan jy glo, ekt uitgesien na die braai en kuier na die tyd!! Kan nie glo toe jy met jou dun tyres Saterdag op die teerpad aangery kom nie
