Why should they? Its a fact that in my working environment there is a lot of corruption and underhanded dealings. Lets say I get fired should i do something dishonest, they will laugh their buts off if a colleague says, but corruption is rife and no one seems to get fired that easy and that I should get my job back. Pro cycling is exactly the same. Its their jobs, so if you dont play according to the rules, you gotta go. Its the only way they could at least attempt in getting the sport clean. Or without cutting any corners, they can just as well have a doper TdF and a clean one.
