Everytime I see the weather predictions for the K2C I want to start crying as to why why why it was so damn hot in 2011? 2012 had awesome weather and by the looks of things this year as well. If they have hot weather next year its probably due to me going for my second try next year. But that being said, I hope all doing the K2C have an awesome race. Dont forget to take in some of the nicest scenery our country has while slogging up a 14km climb of some sorts....

And then I have some "uninformed" but very dear friends, that tried to say that golf is more expensive....

Maybe you just scared of what the stalkees will do with the stalker if the catch her? I think that you would agree with my decision on rather making use of the opportunity of going to do some PlayBall with my 4y/o ? Especially if you only get that chance once a year? I thought that this week would be the start of things, but alas, work has been hectic to the extreme. This year will be my first. With 11 weeks left, just going to train as much as possible during week evenings on whatever (IDT, Stepper, XC Machine) and then up the disctance on weekend rides. Think I should be ok with a 60km on the mtb. Then just taking it as easy as possible on the day and have fun.

That would make for a nice wall decoration in my man cave at our new house!

I wouldnt try my luck with an ostrich, even if I was super fit, on strava and a Strav- @hole...what some people do just to get hits on youtoob and FB continues to amazes me. Like most hubbers said: Its a nature reserve, the animals are wild, not tame. Just maybe used to cyclists and runners in THEIR habitat. Respect the animals and ride around them or wait. Just glad you didnt pay with your life....could have been worse. We often feel like our mtb's are our only thing, but they are worthless compared to a human life
