Shimano still offer XTR (BRM970) V-Brakes for 2007/2008,however the demand is small.

Using non genuine Look,Shimano cleats in any pedal system will cause untold problems.BBB inluded make generic cleats for both systems and they dont work properly and actually cause more issues .
