I might think about it - came off World Duathlon champs last year with a 39min PB for the (shorter!) 10km run so thought I was the bees-knees when I lined up for my first 4km race. Got my ass royally handed to me. And for the next 3 or 4 races I got properly schooled. So have a bit of unfinished business there....

Make no mistake - I know Donovan and while we always used to joke behind his back when he would pitch up to test a bike in shorts and slops, he's very smart and can also ride a bike pretty quickly too. Having said that, Simon, as mad as he was/is, is also incredibly smart.

For one of my birthdays I got a Casio 5-function Digital watch. With a stopwatch. Die Man van Intersek could only stay invisible for 15mins I think. I used to time him and was extremely disgusted when I realised 15 TV minutes was nowhere near 15 Real minutes. Later on that year I subsequently also discovered that 50 Casio meters Water Resistant was also equivalent to about 2 real meters.....
