Recently purchased a road bike and would like to make the switch to tubeless. Any recommendations for a set of affordable tyres, or is there not much between different brands at similar price points? I currently have 28c tyres installed - recommended to continue with this width? Also, any lekker small/inconspicuous saddle bags available? Everything I find on the web is either too expensive or way too big and bulky. Thanks!

Hi guys I'm looking to build myself a road bike and from what I've read, the importing from china route is a good option. Has anyone recently purchased a road disc frameset that can offer some advice? I'm quite new, so not sure regarding different tyre clearance sizes and BB variants. Also with regards to sizing, what is the best way to go about it? I'm 6.0ft Thanks!

Thanks! Went to a local spaz shop, who said they don't sell them, and that people just use normal tubes. Managed to find a specialized tube at revolution cycles in town.

I have recently bought the Specialized MTB XC box and am struggling to fit my inner tube inside. Do you guys perhaps know where I can get a smaller size 29 inch inner tube? Thanks!

I'm yet to have mine serviced, haven't had it too long. I think between the three you can't really make a wrong choice, I guess it comes down to personal preference. From what I've seen, it seems like the Specialized retain their value well for resale. And I think they look the best.

I was in a similar boat to you recently, not quite sure what to go for. Silverback seemed like a good option, but the frame looked very 'boxy' to me, so went against that. I also looked at the Merida Onetwenty 600, was about to pull the trigger and cwc sold out.. I ended up purchasing the Specialized Epic Evo. Difference between that and the non evo is the dropper post, suspension (and I think tyres it comes with, but not 100% sure). Must say that I absolutely love the bike, and for the price, it was just too good to resist. I do think that SA stock is running out, so rather act sooner than later..
