    Probably the best Grand Tour ever! Amazing thrilling action from Day 1. Thank the cycling gods for creating Alberto Contador. Disappointed that Quintana retired early and expected much more Sagan.

    Taking all the comments into consideration, all credit goes to Nibali and Astana for riding superbly. Questions will always be raised about IF AC or CF was present would Nibali have been this dominant? From my view, it's not his fault that they crashed out of the Tour. He rode best and deserves the Yellow jersey but I must admit it's been a bit boring. No 1 fighting for the yellow jersey, not many fierce attacks. Contador would have made it that much more exciting and interesting! After Contador's crash, I truly expected more from Valverde. Contador still my favourite rider, and would remain for a very long time!

    One has to question had Froome and Contador not crashed would Nibali be as dominant as he is? But that doesn't matter, he stayed on his bike and he is and in the best form of his career.

    Thanks Dale.. Read somewhere at the beginning of the season Tinkoff had chosen both Zipp and Roval as wheels sponsors.

    Totally agree with you JF. But sadly, the tour is over. Happy for Nibali but it's going to be a battle for podiums as yellow has been decided!

    I'm supporting Contador all the way and even though he's 2:30 down he will put up a fight. But, we have to be realistic it will be tough. This is the ITT results from the Dauphine, Nibs performance wasnt too bad.     He was dropped yes, but he has a good time advantage over the other favourite GC riders. Surely he can limit his loss. He has won Gran Tours before so his experience will count in favor of him. I reckon we will see Nibali in Yellow from now till Paris.

    One has to admit that Alberto's teammates keep failing.. I would like to know what the role of Jesus Hernandez is because I've never seen him working for the leader.. Unless he works from the back of the peloton.

    Nibali rode like a champion, never thought he'd be wearing yellow at this stage of the tour. Very impressed. I have to admit, It will take a miracle if Contador will wear yellow in Paris. Just way too much to ask for. With the advantage that Nibali has, it seems impossible for any of the GC Riders to close the gap on him... Just my 2cents.
