  1. Ha. I'm considering whether I'm going to lug around a beer or 2 for one of the stops or to go for the smarter camelback option.
  2. Yup. Doing the marathon
  3. *note: I pulled over to take the snap.
  4. You don't. This is what you're missing
  5. Yebo. Red trailseeker socks in the reg pack. Kekeke
  6. There was a "wanted" classified posted a few hours ago if you still have it... I see the seeding results are out. I'm in D. Better than J
  7. Some races have more than 1 winna wena.
  8. That would be more accurate
  9. isn't there a cowboy here on thehub with tattoes on his arm? :whistling:
  10. after a few calls, located them. Solomon woodmead has.
  11. Here's the original one I saw - http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Z8tiqvRDU0w/TxzGBb2Op1I/AAAAAAAA7gs/2oV4uEt6mgw/s400/Bike%2BHanger.jpg I'm trying to find another one I saw a few months ago, it had a round umbrella type design where the bikes were hooked up vertically suspended almost. The roof had solar panels built into it.
  12. Thanks It's the 2.2 TD
  13.. it's the only non biodegradable item i've ever left on a trail. i'm usually the oke who'll pick up cr*p in the middle of nowhere if i see it. it was on the side of the trail, so I'm pretty sure it was picked up pretty quickly after I left it.. i hope
  14. lol. he did it. pedal stripped off along the train lines just before moses cafe @ van gaalens. Long walk back.
  15. i saw a pic this weekend that a mate showed me of some ferris wheel type designed bike hanger. a bit kitch, but thought it was a lekker design. something similar to this: http://webecoist.momtastic.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/bike-storage-wacky-vertical-ferris-wheel.jpg
  16. I threw my mini pump away while riding the monster. was the 2nd one that didn't give enough pressure, so frustrating. I usually ride with bombs, but they dry out the sealant... I saw a can of something this weekend (similar to a bomb, but not co2) that doesn't dry out sealant, but I can't remember what it was...
  17. mate of mine did that a few months ago - brand new bike, and put the L pedal on the right crank and vice versa. Wish I'd known you did it Johan.

  21. Look up patellar compression syndrome too. Change in training (pushing more), angle of the cleats or seat position / handlebar height are all factors. Here's a good read that I found when it started happening to me, knees are strong now (check out the 2 exercises to stretch your muscles) - http://www.bikeradar.com/fitness/article/take-care-of-your-knees-part-2-17445/
  22. Collected on Friday too :D
