  13. Yebo that is correct - and the dude sitting on the Haybale is Paul Walton - Fabian Barels Mechanic and Manager when he used to race World Cups That was Mike Van Zyl - he was racing for Schick Cannondale at the time - Faceplanted the metal grating on the bridge. Go to Hospital - Do not pass go - do not collect 200!
  14. This is pretty cool too - Mammoth Kamakazi in 1993 Hows the guy with one leg racing!
  15. A Female version of Sam Hill
  16. Grundig pulled out in 1997 The whole reason for the 1996/1997 sponsorship of the SA series was due to the impending world cup in 1997 in Stellenbosch. However by 1998 when the UCI were looking for sponsors Grundig were in trouble and pulled out - so Diesel Jeans came on board last minute as the main title sponsor. That lasted 2 years and then they pulled out too - Grundig have nothing to do with MTB anymore AFAIK
  17. 1994 Paarl Nationals DH - riding a Giant Yukon hardtail with plastic cantilever brakes, and 1/2 inch of non-existent elastomer travel and 1996 Ferncliffe Nationals DH - riding a Diamond Back Axis TT hardtail with 1.5 inches of SWEET Marzocchi XC 500 air oil front travel
  18. Agreed Because also the rims have red in them on the stans logos
  19. Cool - i dont have prepsol - but have a variant ... have tried that and it also did nothing without some thick elbow grease SO Elbow grease i think it is ... Beer, Elbow grease, and metallica should hopefully do the trick
  20. Black Bar, stem and grips Dont want to overdo the red
  21. Hey you two - go and make deals via the PM ... buggers ... hahahahaha
  22. Nope Keeping it red! I tried it the other day before my ZTR's were built It looks pretty cool - so I'd rather not spend the cash having it sprayed and spend that cash on ENVE bars. heres some pics of what it looked like when i put the forks on
  23. I have heard that about the 2011 Alu wilsons with the carbon stays on Pink bike too But they all say run a 180mm rear rotor and you are hundreds I was going to run 180 anyway as thats what i used on the GT.
  24. Hey okes Help - any great ideas to getting Joes/Stans off your rims? I have just built up a new wheelset and put on my existing Tubeless tyres and needless to say the solution went all over the rim. So i wipe it off with a clean rag - but it just goes all sticky and now i need to like pick it off by hand! What a HACK! - and its a BRAND NEW set of rims - so i want them looking shiny! I tried some Cobra polish but the dried solution just laughed at me. Any ideas? Shot Nige
