Read on a net somewhere a while back that on a mtb the bars should be between 10 and 15 cm wider than your shoulders. Poor handling can also be caused by a bad bike setup ie if you are sitting to far back and there isn't enough weight on the front wheel.

Who did it this year and what are your thoughts. Day 1 75 km was tough well i thought so. Had a blast on day 2 realy fast but not exactly 45 km closer to 42 km.

The shop in the north near a cliff is the worst when it comes to client service the is a group of us that avoid that shop. Linden cycles and westrand cycles are pretty good but not great. Still looking for a great local bike shop

Singletrack was awsome realy enjoyed it. Only complaint was the bottle knecks. Great ride will do it again.

I have been tubeless for a year know and I still ride with a tube and pump you never now when you will need it. Tubeless is the way to go

I have found the spruit to be a freindly week end ride but the last few rides have been unfreindly. Maybe the roadies are training there i dont know but i always make an effort to greet and will continue to even if i dont get a reply.

Is there an adaptor to fit a bb30 crank into a std 68mm bb. I have searched the forums and web and i know you can put std cranks into BB30 frames. But can I do it the other way

is there an adaptor available in South Africa for a MTB without brackets for a disk caliper on the seat stay. I have googled and phoned around but nothing in SA or is there some one who can make one. Is it a good idea to use an adaptor?

Just laced up my mtb rear with one of these. For what i payed for it R220 looks like a good rim. Havnt tried it on any rough stuff yet.
