  1. I knew the King wasn't dead... Long live King Tumbles!
  2. Some of our heroes didn't help with our dress sense back then. But they did foresee the Hub.
  3. Jissus, I played that game all the time... That and a really simple flight simulator on my Commodore 64
  4. Can't remember Liewe Heksie - just remember Knersus and his pot. Scary...
  5. Thanks for the meander back through my youth but Donkey Kong was advanced - there was an egg drop one I had that was my intro. This is my TV memory with the theme tune..
  6. If he was lancing his Thor Aching Buttox, I'd be the first to know.
  7. Barry 'Who?' Roux in the 'Battle to find Rourke's Drift'. Movie of the weak. (Sorry, week puns)
  8. It has to be arms cos this thread cannot possibly have legs.
  9. From what I remember from his own thread, Baaisiklist is easily identifiable cos his arms are strong. (But at least he had the decency not to try this CSA drivel...)
  10. When the marketing bumph says 'New Di-hydrogen Oxide - our untapped resource' they will have gone too far. But sponsors are needed for events.
  11. Will definitely do this next year... Trying to take K2C seriously (for me) this year, so didn't do a race this weekend. looks amazing
  12. As a sufferer of the odd saddle sore myself, many times I have wished I had injected some sealant beforehand... (It may not have worked but it's a better use of a 1mm syringe than a brake bleed...)
  13. The Conjuring was very enjoyable. No stupid torture porn, almost no blood. Love the old fashioned ghost stories with atmosphere and no stupid teenagers. The Changeling A Tale of Two sisters Triangle (which has more twists than a giant koeksister) The Exorcism of Emily Rose But still the most horrific film, and the only one I can describe as devastating, was The War Zone. No war, no blood - Most simple, intense thing I have ever seen. (In the one there is a picture by the cubist, Monet... Very interesting)
  14. Rumour has it Team Sky will send a team next year, and CTCT pay for them out of our entry fees. (Good luck fending off them pitches, Savage )
  15. I thought Wolf was a great movie but I loathed the characters so much, it wasn't a fun movie and barely made it through. I think that was sort of the point though? I have enjoyed most of Nolan's films, but would never put Inception anywhere close to Dark Knight. But The Prestige, which isn't as highly rated, I thought was magic. And Tarantino's best was Reservoir Dogs. I tried Kill Bill and turned it over to something else after about 30mins...
  16. Jissus, bud, has someone lost his joy and sadness? But yes, I gave you the wrong impression... Humble apologies. Edit: Miro?
  17. Glad you liked it, bud. One of those that you get and wait for your little one to turn 12 to watch together *Triple mint gum. ..*
  18. One of the best scenes of any movie, period. When you have cubist art like Degas on screen, the characters are in 'abstract thought' and they come up with 'Oh, no we're deconstructing' and making offhand dimensional related comments, you know they are not making a kiddies animation
  19. I avoided it, just on a few story descriptions! Tom Hanks is someone I 'don' t get', although you can admire his craft. Except for Green Mile. Forrest Gump was massively overrated to me.
  20. It is actually quite strange you say that cause I immediately went to get 'Up' cos I enjoyed the other one so much, and they have the same director. I really didn't 'get it' at all even though it was universally praised through out the Web. So it's understandable...
  21. I've only seen three: Return of the Jedi which was my first ever movie, Titanic, the second screening of which was in the very front row of a curved movie screen, and could have been the Sound of Music for all I know, and now Inside Out. So I'm mostly with you!
  22. Haha, not one for a two time viewing for me. But my girlfriend says I did not stop laughing the SECOND time. There is so much going on that I missed most of it the first time.
  23. The Dark Knight is still one of my top 5 movies. But i have to admit that the only movie I have seen twice at the movies since Titanic is Inside Out. And I don't have kids... All credibility gone. But Gees that little 'cartoon' is a masterpiece.
  24. Even though as a leg model I am offended, as a cyclist I gotta agree with you. This is one of those making a mountain out of a pimple things, I am sure.
