  2. Ikon Exception Series Exo Protection, best weight vs strength combo by a mile
  3. Big difference in quality. The rankings are: Shimano XTR XT LX/SLX Deore SRAM xx x0 x9 x7 x5 Try to go XT 2012 10speed if your budget allows it - excellent!

    Argus MTB 52km

    Ja! Jyt lekker gery!
  6. How old is your Holdfast? I think the newer ones are taller, my 29er doesn't fit mine, but the other day I put it on a "new" Holdfast and it worked

BA for me, see you guys there. Looks like previous results help alot with the seeding, my brother is in BE and he is better than me, but he didn't do Burger MTB. I emailed Racetec to see if they can do something for him, do you guys think it will help?
  8. 3x10!!
  9. Maxxis Ikon Exception 3C Exo Protection
  10. He is very satisfied with the combo. The Aspen Exception is just not as strong as the Ikon Exception 3C Exo Protection. So for a more durable combo I would use Ikon front and back. A very good and strong, and light! The Racing Ralphs are crap, took my front one off, Riding a Aspen Foldable which I got for free, much better grip than RR. RR doesn't last either. My dad has only got 1 puncture in 8months, he is 105kgs so it's allright!
  11. What phone do you have? My Blackberry's signal cuts out when there is 5% battery left, so no more update, but still finish the workout. Then when I charged my phone, just went on Endo, uploaded the workout again and the full workout is availiable agaim. Hope this helps somehow
  12. Those bottles with magnet holder won't scratch if you are really serious about it. I've seen some guys at Oakvalley 24h with them and they held up even on the mtb
  13. XT are better than cross ride IMHO
  14. Ek sal dit eendag wil doen, as Oom 'n pakkie "geduld" deel van die deal kan maak

    Bunny Hop.

I have a 29er HT, I was bit scared, but now I hop as always
  16. +1 on the 220m
  17. Tough but oh so much fun! The singletrack on the way down really makes it worth your while doing all that climbing! This event just keeps on getting better and better! Big up to the Paul Roos Gimnasium (Team Mavic Giant) laaities, they were at one stage 20min behind Rocky Mountain and showed real character, digging real deep to win this event for the 3rd year in a row in the overall teams category!
  18. Solo number 27. Blue shirt "MTB Dawners" will look out for you guys!
  19. I also that lap times will increase atleast with 10-15min on average, last years course was very fast. I'm going to try and do 20laps solo, working on 45min a lap, sleeping 00h00 - 5h00. This event is always fun!
  20. Can't wait to raplace my Racing Ralphs Evo with Maxxis Aspen (F) and Ikon ® both Exceptiono, my dad has this combo and only one puncture in a year @ 105kg, lasts long!
  21. Nah then it's chilled vibes I wouldn't worry to much then it will go away by itself then
  22. Use Squirt lube, wash after rides, I've seen Squirt making a drivetrain look new again. My spare bike's cluster and chain look old and rusted, lubed with Squirt, washed and lubed again, a few times it looked like new
  23. A cheap option will be: buy/get a moertoe frame, send it to Oakley and for R200 they will send you a brand new frame. And sommer ask Oakley what a new frame cost and explain your situation.
