  1. Hi Marius Not sure if this will solve your problem. I had a similar problem on my SL while riding, the data will disappear for a while - the hub icon showed on the CPU but no power or speed, only lines (sometimes the CPU even went to sleep). On one of the PT forums on the internet I read about a guy who installed the pickup on the chainstay on a sponge or some shock-absorbing material. I tried it - and all was solved, no more data loss. It doesn't look pretty, but at least I can get some data from my PT. If you want to, I can send you a photo of my setup. Try this - hope it helps. If not, do a search on the net - a lot of PT FAQ sites.
  2. Ok, have to go back to work now. I've built this bridge and I'm over it, but next time, Mr. SA Flag Jersey, you're going to k#k!
  3. Was not even aware of the dude! He was going at snail pace when I passed him, and next thing I know he nearly crashed into me when I had to brake for a dog.....
  4. Normally yes, but this time he nearly caused a big crash! All I'm asking is please let me know you're on my wheel. With a strong headwind it is sometimes difficult to hear even a car coming from behind. I don't mind pulling you (because I can ).
  5. wheelsuckers!! Yes, that includes you, Mr. SA Flag Jersey - wheelsucker of note. At least have the decency to ask if you can sit on my wheel. In fact, just tell me you're going to sit on my wheel because you're not up to the strong head wind. I don't mind pulling you all the way home! BUT, you nearly caused a big crash this morning because I was not aware of you!! So, next time Mr. SA Flag Jersey, I will get rid of all the snot in my nose, and sorry if it hits you, but I'm not aware of you! Or I'll stop dead for the millipede desperately trying to cross the road, because, Mr. SA Flag Jersey, I'm not aware of you sucking wheel! Racing is a different matter, Mr. SA Flag Jersey - but if we're out training, please be considerate next time. Sorry Mr. SA Flag Jersey, you know who you are, but you suck.....
  6. Slowjoe, sorry to hijack your thread. Same question: Anybody got the route for the OFM Classic and the Double Century?
  7. Go check the gravel-photos on one of the other threads! Scary stuff!
  8. This was a really bad, bad idea! And the dust, tractors?? Can't remember when last I heard that many swear words in the peloton......
  9. And throw my 720 away? Ok, anybody want to buy my 720, about 3 or 4 speed sensors, about 3 or 4 cadence sensors and 2 hr bealts?
  10. I know you can't use the PowerTap with any Polar sensors because of interference, but can I use the Edge (with cadence) with the Polar sensors not removed (using the same crank magnet for the Polar and the Edge cadence sensors)? I prefer not to take the Polar Speed and Cadence sensors off my bike - too much of a mission.
  11. Just copy the above link and paste it in your profile!
  12. No, I've got the latest version. Can't be that. Just can't understand why all the PowerTap's RAW data is displayed, but not that of the GPS?
  13. When I view the RAW data from an Edge 305 download in CyclingPeaks, it does not show the Lat/Long at all? Does anybody know if it is possible to add a column to see the GPS data? (Bruce, maybe you'll be able to help?)
  14. Sorry, I'm still confused about the licensing requirement. Once a year I pack my bike to do the 94.7. I belong to the WC PPA. Do I need a license (CycloSport or other) to be seeded for the 94.7? If I have no lisence, does it mean I start at the back and not in one of the seeded groups? Does CGC have access to the WC PPA database? Don't mind applying for a license if I have to, but I just need to know what the requirements are well in advance!
  15. Bruce, if you manage to merge it, PLEASE let me know!! Will you be able then to view it as 1 ride in CyclingPeaks? I'm addicted to my PowerTap and Garmin.
