if its only one dude....i give him the bike and wait till he is on it. then i bliksem him off it and make him bite the tar hard. (done this before - cos it was a 25K bike that i didnt want to lose, which was stolen anyway a few weeks later.. so wtf) but you should be able to judge the guy and his character... dont be stupid..its just a bike. ;-)
v brakes are great in the dry. but they are not for people who buckle their rims often. I carry a spoke tool with me when i ride my jump bike (has v's) the best brake which ive had.. magura hs 33's. that was a good few years ago... now theres nothing that touches disc's for ease of use and RELIABILTY ;-) Happy riding peeps! its summer! :-)
nah, get a single speed mtb with 26" wheels, and a 80 to 100mm travel fork. i cruise round on my bmx all the time but distance is killer on my back when i ride far and jump all day. thats why mtb will be better for 15km trips i rate my 2c. cherz
