  1. Momsen is getting big! but still most asked for brands is giant, merida, silverback, scott. not in any specific order. I feel Spesh is big but is taking a dive
  2. If I had enough space in my flat! haha
  3. Best of luck with all of this Barry.
  4. That's weird, cos our shop has plenty of stock on lights...
  5. YES , in uitzicht.... when would you like to go ride? we can cruise round the burbs
  6. My car is worth more than my bikes. I don't want/need another car, BUT I want/need more bikes!
  7. support the local lbs man. ;-) if you have any issues, will be easier to sort as well. my 2c
  8. R11 799. Axis A10 29er Tread magazine page 48 (May/june 2012) This bike finished the epic - nuff said?
  9. O_o nice!
  10. Tragic loss to loose a family member. But this sounds like a "challenge accepted" type of thing... Surely one knows the risks involved when using public roads.
  11. That is a HAWT bike! come on okes lets find this bike. tell your friends to tell their friends... give us a contact number man, and ill put it up in the bike shop aswell if you want?
  12. Fork first for sure.
  13. RIP Condolences to the family.
  14. That track looks evil. bet there will be some carnage!
  15. Gobi is perfect for off road. all styles to suit your riding abilities, like that XM! haha ;-) I use a hard Selle Italia saddle though, def not recommended if you have a soft bum!
  16. What size wheel is the bike? 16"? Dont think your child is riding a 20", surely? I installed 20" permatubes on a childs bike the other day. Can try slime and pump wheels up to 2bar, only problem is that your child might: a) complain of a bumpy ride due to tyres pumped so hard; b)wont have any grip and wheel will spin on gravel cos the child is too light; c)have to adjust Trainer wheels because they will be higher off the ground after putting so much air in the tyre. Also, is it possible to modify a back pedal brake bike to lever and cable? maybe and no. Have to see the bike to tell- rather take to lbs. but they will prob say the same thing: rather just buy a new bike, so much easier. But FYI at Checkers i saw kids bike with foam tyres and F&R brakes. was cheap. consider that option? Thats if you want 16" though. think they were R400 if I'm not mistaken. foam tyres will be softer ride for kido...
  17. i had similar giant to that! RST cable discs... 16kg's.. ah those were the days...
  18. I'm in!
  19. uh, yeah totally.
  20. M/L DJ bike handles like a dream. xc also a M 1.76m
  21. Interesting... How did they crack the frame removing the BB? surely shop has insurance in the event that staff break stuff? or am i wrong in thinking that?
  22. Training in the rain is refreshing and will help hone your skills. Ha!
  23. http://www.giant-bic....x4/7162/43791/ http://www.merida-bi...NE-TWENTY+500-D http://www.merida-bi...Matts+TFS+900-D http://www.bicycling...uide/aspect-10/ Look at the geometry. see what will suit how you ride/ want you want to ride. The Merida Full susser has good spec. but ive never ridden one. how much R? The giant trance pedals very well and has good geometry. I would just get a better model than the 4. Would definitely recommend saving more for the X3. just looking at the spec and knowing how they ride is a no brainer. http://www.giant-bic....x3/7162/43793/ It has a thru axle up front making steering way more precise and adds loads of confidence... As for the Fox products on the bike, i think the name speaks for itself - awesome. other than that, if you want a hardtail then go for the merida tfs 900d- its got shimano slx! very nice! just ask to swap out the tyres?
