I want to do the same but battery on my Drift seems to have packed up :-( I bought the AW-100, very happy with it. Unfased when we use it on the beach, gets wet, goes underwater no problems.

Sharks game at least didn't influence the standings on Superbru :-) The next 2 games have mostly the same predicted winner, but the stormers / cheetahs game is more evenly spread so will shuffle the leaderboard a bit!

I put all my DriftHD stuff together for a pic, placed it in the classifieds yesterday. Thought I better see that there aren't any of my own vids still on the memory card but low and behold it didn't want to switch on! Works well when plugged into a USB port but seems the battery has decided to retire ... Just an indication of how seldom I used it :-(

It's busy enough over weekends to meet people there and join their group or just follow them. I wouldn't recommend cycling alone in the Fountains area that is close to the train station though.

Random thought: Unless a barrista is going to be on duty at the burger joint, why not have a Nespresso machine (or more if demand picks up) where it is easy to have a few flavours of pods available and can be served nearly instantly? I realise it's not a commercial machine but how many coffees are typically ordered with a burger -- maybe a milkshake maker !!!!

R13k is a generous budget for a first bike. Although you already have a bike comp, consider buying a decent helmet, shoes, clothes, light, floor pump etc and then spend the rest on something from the classifieds here. Enjoy the ride, but beware, it's addictive :-) Edit: and a pair of glasses
