I find it interesting what people complain about at the races. For the PPA riders if you entered the ride early the race cost you R70. For R70 bucks they organise the event, they arrange your seeding, they arrange the marshalls, they arrange the water and they arrange coke at the end of the race. What more do you expect for R70. For R70 bucks I am happy just to be a part of the event. I will acknowledge that running out of water at the waterstops is unacceptable and that the weather predictions are accurate enough in advance for this. The PPA should improve on this. However, let us as cyclists be thankful for the organisers that make this event possible in the first place.

I had a really awesome ride today. Did this ride the first time two years ago and really struggled up Ou Kaapse weg the second time around. Today I was better prepared and got the better of Ou Kaapse weg. Really chuffed with my ride. :clap:

Yeah, David B pulled a fast one on us. I think I will need to work out a longer route to make up some extra k's.

I am starting in U with a 7:18 start time. I am quite happy with that, started in CC last year. Will need to push it up for next year. I know I can do better than that

I find this post ironic. i decided to briefly come and look what the hub has to say after my software bombed saying "an automation error occurred" the program shuts down and my work is lost. :cursing: Anyway, this post has at least given me a moment to chuckle, knowing others have frustration with their software as well.

You can try a new thread, but it could be pretty soon and other posts are placed on that thread as well, which would defeat the purpose. Worth a try though.

I uploaded my files tonight after changing the Favorite Sport setting, alas the data is still imported as running. Guess I am stuck with the manual changing.

Endomondo provides you with the ability to transfer your data directly to the website. I import gpx files as I use Sporttracks for keeping my data on my pc.

I don't quite agree with this statement. If the item is overpriced I will say as much with a good motivation e.g. CWC sells the same item new for the same price. Its not cool to slam the oke, but there's nothing wrong with pointing out that he is overpriced. If I shop around for something I appreciate the comments others make on the for sale items. At the same time, if I see an item that goes for a good price, even though I am not interested I will add a post saying Good deal. The adds after all form part of the public forum

I also import from a gpx file. I see under the settings page that there is a field "Favorite Sport" which I have now set to cycling. I will check tonight when I upload today's rides. Will let you know if it works.

By the way, whenever I import a ride on Endomondo it is automatically logged as runnning and I don't do running. Is there a way to set the default import setting to cycling? It would save a bit of irritation of having to change this manually all the time.

I did a quick check and there are 13 cape epic entries available with most around R30 000 and the lowest at R24 000. Good luck in your sale. BTW the post should really be placed under the classifieds.

In this instance it is probably a case of money talks. Have you got the money to buy the decision? Just because a principle is used today for a certain decision, does not mean that tomorrow that same principle will apply. I don't condone this, but this is often how it happens.

I am surprised. Murray is actually giving Djokovic a challenge. First set 6-3 to Djokivic second set 3-6 to Murray.

Can you perhaps get a list from your friend for the most important items they are looking for? I understand the list may be long and I don't mind that, but there must also be things that are of the highest priority. It just gives us an idea of what to source?

Unfortunately Nadal takes it. Congratulations to him. Don't like either Djokovic or Murray, so I'll be rooting for Nadal in the final.
