I bought a SB Nebraska - which is pretty much identical to the Ventura - except 2010 model and different colours... My 1st bike so I cant compare it to anything else - for now it meets my requirements - budget and no need to be uprading any time soon - since it has decent components already...

I opted for a Silverback Nebraska - decent bike, with some decent components (air shock, XT rear, everything else is SLX, hydraulic disc brakes etc...) Possibly - being a noob to MTB - I enjoy all the "fancy bits" that come with it... Also - I did use it to understand what gear I was in - so if it can be "quick-fixed" I would definitely get it done...until I am aware of what gear I actually am in...

Being totally new to MTB, I purchased a bike last week Saturday. After chatting to a few mates - it seems as though my front and rear brakes are on the opposite sides... Is there a standard for this? Set up on mine - right brake = rear, left brake = front...

silly questions - I recently bought a bike that came with SPDs (M520). Being my 1st bike - I asked them to leave the reflective cover on - so I could ride with normal sneakers so I could get used to the bike... Was I supposed to get a set of shimano cleats with those pedals?

Same as the Ventura...different colour for a way cheaper price! Can you possibly take a pic of the roof rack on your Mk1 please...any possibility of it causing damage to the bootlid?
