  1. Is there a decent rim manufacturer (29")that makes Alu-look rims. I don't like white rims and the black ones shows nicks and scrapes way too easy. What to do?
  2. Thanks, will contact them.
  3. Bought/got a cracked Giant carbon 26" fully frame. Looking for a pro to repair the frame in Cape Town area. All info welcome and appreciated.
  4. Bike weight plays a small role for me since I am a super feather weight. For me training to climb is most important. Weight distribution and your ride position.
  5. Mr. Spar. Would have love ride with you 2 again, but taking mother-in-law out to lunch @ Okapuka.
  6. we have a guy in our club that rides on and off raod with no shoes as well
  7. i put mine in an old sock, with a good amount of baby powder. works for me
  8. Fallen leaves-Billy Tallent
  9. Wife wants me to shave my skinny & hairy legs, I want a roadbike. She doesnt want me 2 have a road bike, so I dont shave!
  10. Never used squirt until the Epic. Will never never ever use anything else again!!!
  11. I also carry almost all of the stuff mentioned, except for the small kettle. Cable ties, never leave the home/start without them, 30cm binding wire & dental sidecutter, small bottle of lube and sunblock
  12. Buy an electric "help my trap" bicycle, they can do 30km/h if you dont pedal on a flat road. You can get up to 70km before the battery is flat, this distance depends on a lot of things. O ja, its cycle related
  13. I enjoyed the Epic a lot eventhough I was on a hardtail, though there were some words said about the wind and when I bought some land on Gamkapberg's downhill. Must agree with the guy(s) about practicing bunch riding. This is were I struggled the most by far. To the boys who worked the Pragma wash bays, thanx a million, you were GREAT!! I will surely do it again, but only in 2010 as I have other things to concentrate on for the next year.
