  1. MIght sell em. They are DT SWISS R1900's. No idea what to ask for them. http://www.bicycling.com/gearfinderproductdetail?gfid=12531
  2. Thanks. I'll check out those options.
  3. Ok so it seems to be the American Classic 420's, the Ksyrium's or the RS80's. Anyone else ride one of these 3?
  4. Thanks Falco. Do you find them stiff and responsive? Where did you buy them?
  5. I prefer something with a track record. To me, these are no-name-brand.
  6. Anybody else? Anyone got those Shimano's?
  7. I'm looking for solid, serviceable wheels that will last me years. Happy to spend R4-R5k. I'll spend more if it's something really worth the extra $$$.
  8. Seems to be a very popular wheel. I'll add to my list. Thanks.
  9. Thanks - I'll do some reading on those. Anyone else?
  10. Hey hubbers .... Looking at replacing my road wheels. The Shimano DA 7900 C24 look awsome but pricey. The RS80 C24's seem the be the same wthout the DA hubs, and a few thousand ronts cheaper. These will not be my race wheels or my training wheels. They will be my only wheels. Any advice on these or others?

  19. Sorry about your k@k start to the day. I'm glad the fam is ok. I know that feeling of being violated and it sux. As does ADT. Change to one of those serious companies like CSS, CAP etc if they are in your area. The good news is your day can only get better.
  20. Haha. I did that too! http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2340/2462746663_5d2dedbae1.jpg These days they have this ....
  21. Thanks for your help Johan.
  22. Yip I was quoted R1400 a wheel for new bearings, per wheel! Importing them for a fraction of the price. Johan is standard grease fine then? What is the difference between sealed bearings and cartridge bearings?
  23. @audio - I found the exploded views in the technical manual I downloaded for my hubs a good start to understanding how it all works
  24. Thanks Vinny!
