Was thinking the same thing. I assume he just removes the inner screw out bit and not the entire valve. Still. How do you get that bit in without the tire deflating?

Stans first. Then "massage" the tyre into place. Soap, and then pump. I manage with my floor pump.

Soapy water made with green dishwashing liquid, liberally applied around the rim on both sides of the wheel should do the job. Make it nice and bubbly and apply the bubbles.

My LBS recommends the Giant in that range as best bang for buck. But what do I know, I ride a 26er. Happy shopping.
