  1. Talking about having your cake and eating it...This way he can enjoy both pastimes at the same time!
  2. Depending how much you train and how long the unit was energised before being sold, a battery should last about two years. When you buy the unit there is supposed to be a piece of plastic between the battery and contacts which you pull out after purchasing it, but sometimes the people pull it out so they can play around with it. But 4 months is a bit short. It sounds like you could have a problem with the unit.Speed Devil2008-08-30 07:14:23
  3. Is there anybody in the Pta north area not racing this weekend and wanting to do a casual/leisurely ride tomorrow or Sunday. I'm just getting back into thie swing of things so I won't be riding very fast. Looking at doing maybe 50km or so. Phone me on +27 82 338 3239
  4. Nice bike. Hope you have plenty of happy miles! PS: That bike should have been ON the couch (but I don't think the missus would have been happy with tyre marks on the fabric)
  5. I hate those things. They should be banned from all cycling events including training. A person cannot hear what is going on around him/her and even when the volume is "down" a person can get so engrossed in the tune that they forget about their surroundings. If a person causes an accident due to listening to his ipod instead of concentrating on whats going on around him I won't hesitate to take him out too. These idiots are a danger to themselves and all around them. Just my personal opinion.
  6. Either way I on't swop my DA's for anything in the world! If I was a top cyclist then maybe yes, but as an ordinary cyclist it makes no sense to spend all that extra cash on something stiffer and lighter when I won't benefit anything. Besides, I still think DA makes the sexiest cranks
  7. Only if it's weelie bad
  8. Endurance racing...It gives them stamina to go all the way.

  18. Acetone should clean it quite nicely Just don't rub too hard other wise the keys might get sticky
  19. So he soaked his rod in acetone just to see if the fibre holds up. Better than soaking his tool in acetone to see if it would stand up... Was he hard-up to prove a point?
  20. I have seen his posts and spoken to him on the phone. I was bored and tried to see if he has a website and then found that. I thought I would let some of the other DIY "specialist" here know about the site seeing as someone was looking for an external BB tool last week.
