Thanks for the info, Is there any truth in rotational weight being equivalent to double static weight. I can't quite get my head around it if it is.

My wife's got a Silverback Saturn. It feels heavy to me and I think the rims may be a major factor (Alex Ace-17). How heavy are these rims and is it worth spending money on lighter rims given the value of the bike? There doesn't seem to be a lot of opinions or reviews on these rims.

Nah, there's a lot of them about too. You're better off with a 24er. You don't have the cons of the 29er and all the pro's of a 26er but just awesomer.

Does a 29er help to pull girls?

What about the Scott Scale I saw a really good price on . Long Tom Cycles had a really good price on them.
