  1. Thanks for the info, Is there any truth in rotational weight being equivalent to double static weight. I can't quite get my head around it if it is.
  2. My wife's got a Silverback Saturn. It feels heavy to me and I think the rims may be a major factor (Alex Ace-17). How heavy are these rims and is it worth spending money on lighter rims given the value of the bike? There doesn't seem to be a lot of opinions or reviews on these rims.
  3. They're all nuts...driving on the wrong side of the road like that.
  4. Ja, could also be attributed to voter apathy. All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.
  5. Can't beat the Bee Gees... Unless you have a very big stick of course

  10. Looking forward to a lifetime of jeeptrack. I can always try gravity racing if that gets boring.
  11. Can we see a pic of the chosen nookie on the chosen bike. Just to get some comparison you know.
  12. Is that really the only difference. There doesn't seem to be much difference in weight or ventilation in helmets I've seen and definitely not R 1500 worth! (Good post. I'm also looking for a new lid)
  13. When did they let you know? Does it mean that if they haven't let me know I'm not in?
  14. I also didn't realize that they needed breaks which is something else to think about again!
  15. Where do you stand (sit?) on the use of suspension?
  16. Nah, there's a lot of them about too. You're better off with a 24er. You don't have the cons of the 29er and all the pro's of a 26er but just awesomer.
  17. Does a 29er help to pull girls?
  18. Oh I get it. Soz Chris. But there is a lot of negativity about them. Anyways I think that's already been discussed to death. I'd still like to know what that bike stand/workstation was that I saw at the Crater Cruise.
  19. What about the Scott Scale I saw a really good price on . Long Tom Cycles had a really good price on them.
  20. Did the Vaseline make it a more pleasurable purchasing experience for you?
  21. Can't make either dates unfortunately. Out of interest: How many attendees are required to make it worthwhile for you to travel to Sabie to present a course?
