  1. Thanks Fees...We did Bikes for the Argus at R500 return, including full use of your own bike box we provide for you. I fully understand where DHL and others are coming from. If you phone any call centre they will quote as per a cash client. To be honest they don't really understand your needs. You pay for the space taken up on the vehicle and basically if your bike wasn't there they could load more mass and hence charge for it. Anyway we still have bike boxes (85 kg volume) left and if anyone needs a bike to any major centre (Economy 3 day service) i will do at R300 incl one way or R600 return. Just contact me.
  2. I was in that bunch and the joining together was unfortuante with many very hairy moments. It took a lot of guts for the girls to ride near the front to stay out of danger. There were at least 2 crashes before we hit Chappies. Chappies sorted out most of the chaos, including me......Well done Cherise....great riding!
  3. Hey Fees.....glad u ok. Can't have iron man injured. Will try to get my lazy bones outta bed in the am and join you with my bright headlights.

  6. Ewep...you could be right, but the light market is tuff....As we are not experts in that field, we decided to concentrate on other products for now...mainly our LG brand and FiT supplements.

  14. shew sorry to hear that DD. I am sure it was an honest mistake. PS....don't forget to mail me the cool photo's you took of our stand at the expo. And well done for all your work on and off the bike. Us riders and stand exhibitors really appreciate the work you do......
  15. Now i recon my wheel was sabotaged! Probably some TCS dude??? 2 Punctures in 1 day....neva had a puncture on the road in ages (touch wood)...how weird is that sitting next to some fellow hubbers and we didn't even know it. Howdy dudes.
  16. Tx guys...poop scoop.....i sure needed one after that quick manouvre.......Big Time. I don't enjoy biting the dust at all. Let alone on a test ride.
  17. Well i was ready to write my own review after joining HR and JL yesterday but how can i add to what HR has commented on? Enuff said....truly a great ride. I did feel rather high up in the cock pit but then being a roday i am not used to this tyoe of ride anyway. All i have ever ridden is my good ol hard tail. Not sure if it was my handling or the bike that saved me from near disaster after only 10 minutes when i nearly got swollowed up by a huge crevice on the left hand side. How i stayed on is clueless to me. I am sure the bike played a part though. Sorry bout the double puncture but thanks for the awesome test ride guys...
  18. Oh and forgot to say sorry to hear about the break in H. Right in our kneck of the woods and around the corner from my spot too. Just glad to hear the Bugg3rs were caught. Was impressed with your off road skills this am...well done. As a roady i appreciate what you MTB's can do.
  19. Hey Holy Roller, JL...i couldn't believe how awesome a ride could be in the middle of all those town houses and clusters. i was really impressed with that route and will do it again. JL....great bike that Commencal was, thanks for the test ride. Back to the route. Really impressive and glad to see a nice safe ride can be done in and around JNB
  20. Shocking news! It is really difficult to feel safe riding in Gauteng........

  25. Do the right thing and declare the goods correctly. If you don't never complain about a corrupt government etc.....and believe me importing on your own is not always cheaper....check out local prices etc...try http://www.marvuli.com/ as well.
