i thought this was old news? okes that really should not be representing SA are getting to represent only because they know someone who knows someone... we have in the past as individuals helped sponsor and fly individuals over to represent SA on the international circuit and i'm not kidding 90% of the time they outperform the selected individuals! not to mention that if you are selected you'll be lucky to have a month to train for the event due to CSA annoucing the riders so late! CSA is a joke

so was at world elite and XCO and DH this weekend... Crisis... some of those girls have some serious skills...

don't do it!!! i'm 1.71m i road for years on frames that were to big for me. when i finally got the correct size frame my sprint was far far better just because i could throw the bike around better. it will detriment your riding, and can lead to having a sore back and neck that only a smaller frame will fix

Dad is over the moon, last year at road and TT world champs he got a silver and bronze. now he has a Gold to finish off the collection!

just spoke to my dad now from the start he got himself into the lead from 15th place. 1st hill Benny came past him. on the Downhills and technical stuff Benny was not happy, he took a chicken run and Paul took the bull run getting himself ahead and giving himself a little buffer. from there he never saw them again, i suspect as Benny was not happy on the rocks, drops and loose sand. he won with a big enough buffer to have a proper celebration in crossing the line first!!

he went down and practiced it the last 2 weekends to ensure he was good to go. funny tho, the piece that they cut out was the piece he rode the smoothest, he said he found the other bits more difficult. but from our discussions he said the course is insane! hard uphills, and very technical. hardest course he has had to compete on by a long way!

my aunt is in tears, and i feel like i am vibrating thats how hectic the nerves are!

not all, sadly the 55-59 cat only does 2 laps. Ole man wasnt happy as it means only an hour of racing...

i couldnt get off work! had a good chat with him before the race, nerves were running high. My dad and Chris both put alot of effort into this! chris is riding with broken ribs after a crash practicing the course last weekend
