  1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T53oGGyl6qg&index=25&list=PLcmaLnqmqDnmn_bCR0RJ-soSCDKCKR97t&t=0s just putting this here....
  2. i did stage 5 yesterday. ugly faces were pulled
  3. stop it! this thread got to Friday. let it die with honor
  4. this thread made it to Friday! - there was never a doubt in my mind. enjoy riding your bikes this weekend, except OP who has a broken top tube... and remember: first rule of super tuck is: we do not talk about super tuck. the second rule of super tuck is: WE DO NOT TALK ABOUT SUPER TUCK. ...adds pinch of friday salt
  5. exactly. this is why the bigger riders should go to the front and pull us skinny okes to our best times
  6. and this is why this Thread will in no way impact Canyon. just look at it... ...i still want one, but you know, for a sneaky on the side, not for taking home to mom and dad...
  7. yep. i've learnt that lesson before with big companies. best is to do the honourable thing - keep quite, accept that if you engage with them you are fighting a giant and will loose no matter how much you use social media (face it, this thread will be long forgotten in a months time) and any "damage" canyon earns in RSA will soon ebb away(they are so pretty, and well priced). get the replacement frame, build the bike up, and sell it unused to get away from a lemon.
  8. fair point. let me clarify - i believe the super tuck is not outside the scope of a modern day bikes fundamental design. further to this there is obviously a weight element to this which begs the question; where and when do you draw the line... i think this case is a very grey area... 3 frames is going to raise eyebrows. that said. my cannonade flash failed 3 times. albeit in totally different ways each time
  9. I'm with OP on this one. when pro's first got into the super tuck we were gobsmacked. now, its so normal we barely bat an eye. find me any young aspiring cyclist who does not emulate their hero's and i'll buy you a cookie. we've all tried the super tuck, or attempted to try it to see what it feels like, and if the benefits are tangible. The Canyon Aeroad, is a newly designed bicycle and should take into account the strains a pro/any cyclist would put on it. These strains inevitably must include the ability to perform a super tuck. i believe in this fully. come on those opposed to OP - would you willingly buy a bicycle that states that it does not support a super tuck?
  10. whoa. i would have killed for a canyon. now not so much. i rest on my top tube all the time on my Look, Giant, Cannondale and Ritte and never had any issues like this. poor form Canyon. there is also the outside chance the OP has an ass of Steel!
  11. yep. sort of. order placed: 07/08/2018 arrived in RSA 13/08/2018 - no invoice with parcel for customs. 17/08/2018 invoice received and parcel released. 21/08/2018 parcel received
  12. i had a puncture that sealed up fairly quickly. left a find spray of gunk on my frame that was a pain in the butt to clean off
  13. i hit a rock on my crest. bend the edge badly. i bent it back and the rim cracked. a small bit of steel weld putty later and its been perfect since
  14. lol. i have a new set of these tires and they have wet spots. maybe you never noticed before?
  15. Coming from someone who has been bike jacked. in my incident i had zero time to do anything. put my hands up and let my stuff go. much as i would love to get back and take "control", i still ride with nothing as protection. its happens far to quickly and will just lead to aggravating the attack
  16. also waiting for the augmented reality. only issue i have with Rouvy is the lack of routes. or the fact that routes are so short. one tends to ride the same road constantly. whereas Zwift must have 100x more roads available
  17. its worth the fuss.
  18. go ride one. it will change your mind. extremely versatile bike. and most our our trails are so smooth that suspension is really not needed
  19. so i looked up the banned part of testoforte. have you guys ever been onto body building forums? - its like they are speaking a different language! everything has numbers and dashes in it. and in almost all threads, inevitably someone gets agro and for 3 pages a battle of ego's ensues.
  20. super optimal ultra super 6mega5testoboostmegaEPOupNOxextra
  21. going to steer clear of biogen in future... if its in one of their herbal products even if by cross contamination, it means it is certainly in their factory building being manufactured or put into other pills - which is worrying.
  22. why do i keep coming back to this thread
  23. Top tip for the day. i've always found the hills in Zwift feel like they are not as hard as the should be i've always been able to spin 90 odd and often find myself in a oddly high gear vs the gradient. after many many Many calibrations of my trainer i finally found the solution online. in Zwift settings move the trainer gradient setting from the preset middle all the way to max. this in essence makes the trainer react faster to gradient changes. boy what a difference! i suffered up Keith's hill in the lowest gear i have at 65-75 rpm on the 10-13% gradients much much happier now it feels more realistic. not so much happier at how much more it hurts!
  24. so zwift links directly to Garmin connect. not sure if it will award points though
