  9. They weigh about the same. The weight saving is to pull the weight back from the wider, gnarly tires, longer travel fork (40mm vs 80mm), bigger cassette (11-34 vs 12-46) and bigger rotors (140 vs 160mm).
  10. Unfortunately only next year. We did receive Small bikes.
  11. A man of taste. You've raised him well.
  12. Probably. Unless you've hung unto the 16" for too long, that is. Weight is a major issue, but an even bigger factor than that is size. Kids are small and not that strong, so to hussle a bike around that is too bike can seriously affect their enjoyment and confidence. Plus with a bigger size comes more weight. What the TR SE has going for it is an air fork. Being able to set the sag for kids can not be overstated. Depending on the terrain they ride a rigid could of course be a bonus, thanks to the weight saving. But if your kid is riding off road then an air fork will be a BIG plus. And if they are shredders, then maybe take a look at our Trail Jnr. Air fork with longer travel, wider tires, hydro formed frame... it all comes down to needs.
  13. Hi, the spec is already on the site. We will load actual images as bikes arrive and they are photographed in studio. ETA's remain a moving target, but we're expecting the following models in Sept SWITCH CARBON COMP - BOTH COLOURS SWITCH CARBON ELITE SWITCH CARBON EMPIRE We're expecting the first Valerian models to arrive in Oct. We'll update once they are on their way.
  14. The Cypher 120 Carbon Expert, Cypher 120 Carbon Comp, Cypher RS Carbon Elite and Cypher RS Carbon Comp will have Shimano XT.
  15. Here are confirmed weights for the bikes we've received and weighed. The site will be updated today.
  16. It's a tricky one. Some brands post absolute best case scenarios, that then becomes public knowledge and soon a fact. When you post actual weights and another brand posts my little pony weights you're on your back foot. Just one more challenge to fight! 😎
  17. Hi, we weigh actual bikes when they arrive in the factory before we share weights. (Some brands work on theoretical weights or best case scenario weights). That does mean we need to wait for stock to arrive before we can start the process then we need to update the site - this takes a bit of time unfortunately. If you'd like you can let me know which bike and model you're interested in then I'll check if we've managed to weigh them.
