not so much the amount of people, just the vibe i find to be more alive? but again from a scenery perspective you cant beat the Argus, man its nice

yea also find the argus harder for some reason, vibe wise i reckon JHB has the Cape licked, but in terms of scenery, the Argus is a beautiful race!

    Jock Cycle Classic

might be a bit short notice but if anyone is looking for an entry, you can have mine for free and mahala ... bit of paying it forward. Planning just hit disaster after disaster so wont make it. Ah well, there is always next year. Let me know if anyone is keen (VA batch, but you can drop back if the pace is a bit hot for you).
  20. I have a mate that could take the 40 if you still have it?
  21. ah nuts! only saw this now. would have loved a spin pre-jock, anybody feel like round 2 next weekend?
  22. Functional Threshold Power (FTP). FTP is the power you would average with your highest possible effort during a 60-minute race.
  23. Helped a guy in a race once, chain snapped on a climb. So here i come on my steed and think, aw well letrs do something good today. Stopped, gave him my chain breaker and he stares blankly at me .... mmmmm so, do you know how to use this thing. In the end i fixed his chain, mubled under my breath and took off. Nevertheless, i suppose sport/enjoyment and competing is two very different things. Reckon he fell into the former category. But dont get me wrong, i did something good on the day, should count for some angel points one day
  24. +1 if you around Sandton you can even collect, well i did in any case
