True. We have learned to counter this by piling up some essential stock before the Argus and Epic. Chains, bottle cages, lube...lots of stuff runs out the week or two before and then we too get stuck. Noting the trends and then planning ahead is the name of the game.

Yes, we do. Happens a couple of times a month that we have to send a bike to some far-off place thanks to our crazy prices!

Some good news: Charge will be offering a custom saddle builder via their website. From what we can gather it's not up and running yet, but will be soon. If we don't get our hands on one of those on your option list this might be a killer way to go. Can't say we don't try...

Won't work. Chances are you're in the sweet spot of most Medium frames 17" - 18" depending on brand.

We have a couple of MTB's in your price range. Give us a call or pop in then we can discuss your options and nice price.

From a shop's point of view: They are both great. What's even better is from X5 to X0 and SLX to XTR you get good performance, feel and reliability. Which means if you don't have the money or weight is not the biggest concern you can go cheaper and not suffer like in the good old days. You'll notice that I've left XX out as it's sometimes tricky to get it working 100% on some bikes. Which one do we have to work the most on? Shimano. Without a doubt. Needs frequent TLC to keep it happy and a lot more customers suffer with Shimano with CT's winter mud, sludge and rain than SRAM. Ride what you like and can afford all the way, just know that we don't work on or own 1 or 2 or even 5 bikes. We see more than that on any given day go though our workshop. There's a very good reason why SRAM outsell Shimano AM.
