Ja the old finish was a bit scary with all the traffic. So this route should be alot better

Is there no Open/Seeded cat in the 90km route? Dosen't seem to be one on the entry screen. :-(

I think its just a mass start for open riders. Makes sense as its the first year of the race so there wont be stacks of people.

I just don't get it is there a new sport called "Break the glass bottle in the cradle" or something? It seems there is a never ending sea of glass in the cycle lane.

I had a similar issue but on my road bike. Went to physio but the niggle would go and then come back the next week. The physio suggested i go for another bike fit as the last fitment I had was two years prior. They made some small changes and now the pain is gone and I can get back to training proper. So was well worth it.

have that exact build and very happy with them. But at 80kgs I'm heavier than you Rock so strength is a factor for me.

Well you should be okay. The hills only really bite on the way back with 30kms to go as I recall. That's where I got dropped last time ;-)

I agree have also done it. Really nice route. Bunch will probably be small (for 112km route) so you might be in for some time trialing if you get dropped. I'll most lightly be there. still deciding.
