  1. Camelbak chase bike vest is also a great option
  2. From my view point, if someone does advertise their cell number on an Advert it should be accepted that they respond within a "reasonable time". A "reasonable time" is different for most people, some think a few hours others a few days. This also means that buyers should not be spamming a seller and vice versa. It all comes down to everyone has a life and has things to do. While "lowballers" are irritating, it is something all sellers will encounter at some point (generalising of course). While we all have a different manner that is deemed as correct. Most times a simple "No thank you" or "This item is not negotiable" or even a simple "The lowest I will do is "RXXXX,XX". Also one thing to bear in mind for lowballing, What you deem an item worth others might not deem it to be worth the same and this works for most things. As per mentioned earlier with telemarketers etc. Bring the car dealer story up. If someone does request a call back or an e-mail back, it should be common courtesy to simply respond back to an e-mail or to simply cancel the callback (If possible of course). Unfortunately many people simply don't work this way and believe the world revolves around them. As Matt mentioned before a "Speedy responder" badge could work, however how would this be moderated, would a prompt come up after a transaction asking to rate various categories deemed as important? Respectfulness, honesty etc or whatever else is decided upon? How admin heavy would something like this be? What happens when people start faking stats and reviews like many popular online marketplaces? And yes lowballers and disrespectful buyers are really annoying but "Cost of business" I suppose. It is a free market after all.
  3. Adenorff sells an ultrasonic cleaner Link: https://www.adendorff.co.za/mac-afric-professional-ultrasonic-cleaner-with-heating-and-digital-timer Link: https://www.adendorff.co.za/garage-equipment/ultra-sonic-cleaning I normally do petrol baths to clean cassettes, chains, chainrings etc. I found that the petrol really helps eat the old lube or rust off and then it leaves a very thin layer of oil.
  4. If possible i need 2 or 3 of the screws on the lever and one for the calliper. If possible could we DM to avoid clogging the forum and to arrange pricing and logistics.
  5. I am looking for 2x preferably 3x of the screws on the lever.
  6. Hello there, I am looking for a bleed screw for shimano MTB brakes
  7. With regards to the nut go to your local, bolts bearings and nut shop and see if they can make one. They could also potentially retap the threads on the clamp or bring them to the next size with an appropriate bolt.
  8. so to be more specific is it the lever leaking though the blead port or the calliper leaking or is the lever cracked and it is leaking from there?
  9. Wow looks great, I can't wait to see it with wider bars and a shorter stem. Really nice budget build
  10. Hello There, I am currently looking for a set of brass keys that go inside of a syncros duncan dropper post.
  11. so it looks like it is then a tickr design flaw? What hrms does everyone recemend.
  12. Im also having a problem where, even with fresh batteries my heart rate is almost random (Wahoo tickr with an element bolt). Maybe this becomes the HRM thread.
  13. I had almost that exact one it was anatomic i believe
  14. I bought my bike from these guys Excellent service. I do see they offer bike rentals, haven't rented from them before. LINK TO WEBSITE : https://bikemarket.co.za/home/ @BikeMarketcoza Lets get you involved here and see how you can help?
  15. At least they got the color right 😂, but anyway at least people are reporting it It looks like a black s-works epic full sus.
  16. silverback-works
  17. Single BOA, double BOA or velcro straps even that ratchet system is all personal preference some people just prefer different closure systems. The Fizik mentioned by @shaper also looks rather nice, I would say that is a viable option if you cant get the shimano shoes. They have a boa and velcro strap. I would compare the stiffness of them also as the rc701 is pretty stiff. Giro also appears to have a dual BOA offering link: https://www.cyclelab.com/product/6002253-shoe-road-men-giro-regime-wht so far from what i can see your viable options are Definitely: Shimano rc701 Maybe: Shimano rc702, Fizik tempo overcurve , Giro regime Definitely not : DMT KR3 I'm not too sure about how stiff the Fizik and Giro shoes are compared to the Shimanos as i have only used Scott and Shimano. I'm not sure if you are able to go in and try on the mentioned shoes. Personally i would try them before I buy as you mentioned you are a wide size. I am also a wide size being a size 12.5 If anyone here as used the above mentioned shoes please do advise as I don't want to give false information here about stiffness and fit.
  18. I don't blame you i was also quite attatched to my previous pair of cleats. I can see why you like the 701s with the solid white. The DMT KR3 looks rather nice also but it is a single BOA dial. speak with @Wyatt Earp about their offer and then compare prices, stiffness and then take it from there. I never knew DMT made such a nice looking pair of road shoes. All 3 pairs certainly look the part
  19. Found both pairs on bikeaddict maybe speak with someone there about sourcing your size.If you cant get the 701 the 702 does also look rather nice just not completely white The 701 is the previous generation so I'm not sure if you will find it in your size unfortunately. EDIT: never heard of crank evolutions
  20. What we forget is that there are cyclists that do not follow the road rules and are self entitled, but on the flip side we have cyclists that do follow rules are courteous. Cyclists running lights and being morons are creating a bad name for the rest of us and creating an atmosphere where road users will not be courteous or respectful to us. We cannot only blame motorists for the rage against cyclists especially when there are riders that are unintelligent on the on the roads as mentioned above with a MTB rider skipping a light.
  21. we should add a watermark to Bikehub ads it can be highly useful to see an ad taken from Bikehub a mile away and can disable fraudsters from reusing advertisments. Might even be useful to have a tab similar to "stolen bikes" that can be used as a fraud database that can show aliases and methods that are being used. The watermark was mentioned earlier by someone else
  22. I am wanting to do a loop of hobby park and kingskloof does anyone have a route they follow?
  23. This actually is very sad that cyclists are klapping other cyclists
