  1. My heartfelt condolences to the family... 4 weeks ago someone else crashed there... and had head injuries and another broke his collar bone... Is this the hole right near the start of the bridge at the bottom of the hill?... Check out the link this is on google street view(dont know when the view was done) when it was still small... I think there is another one few meters back Please guys be careful... How legal is it if i fill the hole with cement??
  2. Were you banned for doping?
  3. Do you actually know what transpired at the Tour de Suisse?? Do you know how the supposed positive test became an issue?? Do you know there was a new test that made comparison to the original a farce?? Again you guys... so full of opinions that you picked up from the, to quote you fine words "pricks" [sic]... I suggest again that you do some reading GO Lance GO!!!
  4. I read all your guys babble... and you are all fickle! Ready to pounce like a starving cat [sic]! From reading the comments I can see that very few of you actually know anything about the cases and processes... So do yourself a favor and do some reading... not on this forum... in places where there are credible journalists... it makes a great read... make up your own mind after getting some facts... that can never be a bad thing... GO Lance GO!!!
  5. Can USADA strip a UCI title? I can not see how that is possible?? UCI do not agree with USADA... why would they follow through with the ruling?
  6. I am not fighting with anyone... The USADA thing is not true arbitration... as Tagart will choose the arbitrators... and once they steam roll what they want there is no recovery even if the process after 3 years was determined to be unjust by the final Court!... I ask you guys to read the story... not just the media stuff Lance I think has stepped back for the 2 entities to sort the k@k out first... but hey... I can be wrong!
  7. How about this for an alternative view: If Lance Lost the arbitration which Sparks said was - in my own words not too stable a case - then he would have a chance to take the appeal process to UCI... and then CAS and then swiss court... eeeish... The real fight here is about who has jurisdiction... and that would have been the final judgement... if Lance can prove that it is UCI then that whole process would have been for naught for tagart... I surmise that Lance has taken the "high road" so that they can fight it out by themselves... IS Tour de France a UCI event?
  8. @Christie: Seriously THAT is the comment you are going to make! So have judged Lance already... you.. who have all the facts?... who know the case soooo well?... who knows UCI's next move? I laugh at you guys who know all the facts. I say pfffft!!
  9. @ tumbleweed HAHA...STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES... I will make no comments about your comments... lets just wait for things to play out as they will.. Go Lance GO!!
  10. I believe that Lance has made a decision that has surprised everyone, but it is a good one... it is almost sooo obvious - i never saw it coming! USADA are in no-mans land fighting a fight that they are not involved in. There is no way that he can be stripped of anything by USADA its not theirs to take away... he is not guilty!... and if they do try to strip him of his UCI titles... UCI will defend their jurisdiction and then its gonna be messy and at a huuugh cost to USA tax payers... and then I guess USADA will be dismantled... haha. its gonna be great! Go Lance GO!!
  11. Bloody tablet made me reply before i typed anything Yea... Unless he has a white rabbit in a hat.. I am guessing he will get a chance to face his accusers' charges... Once that happens... Its gonna be.. Media storms and violent outbursts at polite social gatherings... its gonna be great... Hey did anyone see the vuelta a espana... The cycling gods are smiling... Go contador!!!!
  12. Thanx for remembering me Lets not forget that this is not a guilty verdict... Go Lance GO!! and one of the contentious issues is that USADA has not provided all the proof they have for Armstrong to face his accusers... be it hearsay or fact, it has not been provided definitively... not to mention the slight fact this seems to include an actual test... real proof - over and above all the witness testimony that Armstrong has yet to see/hear - that they have yet to give the results to Armstrong... fighting a case without fully knowing what who and what is your potential noose... so you have to wait for an impartial hearing that Tagart decides is impartial - because he and his henchmen choose the impartial pawns - before they surprise you with what they have against you... huh! even if a man killed 1000 people he will have all the charges and all the facts against him before the case.. you guys are all rooting for his demise[sic]... but I guess you are entitled to choose sides. But hey... its the law... and the law will play this one out... and I am waiting to see stuff go nuclear... Also do you really believe that a man with all that money and all those resources have interns running the show... its gonna be messy and its gonna be epic.. Good luck to both sides... may the best man win! hehe
  13. mmm ... I do not want to get tooo technical... however it also depends on the saddle you use and the width of your sit bones and the way you sit... I use a Adamo saddle (i have wide sit bones) and I ride with zoot Tri shorts... no padding whatsoever! just a little bit of layered cloth that assists with negating rub... long rides technical rides... no hassles I have used assos bibsorts too... but on long rides the bloody padding shifts into the center cutout-hole and then the padding makes my stuff numb... So make sure the padding is narrow or wide enough to keep a gap between your stuff and the saddle... I used to ride with those HOSS shorts too... eeerrugh! nasty! for me they were getting hooked on everything and the way they rub on your legs when you ride p1ssed me off. also the elastic in the psudo-closet-roadie-shiny-shorts was always too tight... then finding the right elastic size meant I had to fasten the waist velcro straps so tight that the blood stopped going to my legs... i have learnt a few things in my short life: dont buy stuff that does it all... it wont! This is assuming you know that you have the correct saddle width for your sit bones! 1) take your saddle to the shop or find the same one you have 2) place the shorts on the saddle as if you were sitting (see that the padding is not all over the place-code for *** shorts - you will know) 3) final test is actually buying the one you choose and trying it out although I think that craft clothing is super-value-for-money (the winter windbreaker jacket is better than the assos and at a third of the price)... sadly the paddling did not work with my saddle and my sit bones Good luck PS... your ass could be bruised because you are riding a hard tail and you are not standing enough over the "bumps"
  14. Well the smaller the radius.. The smaller the pedal circle and the smaller the leverage... Also the more ground clearance... However the main reason should be because of the length of your thigh bone. If i remember correctly (please do some research on this and dont take my word as absolute-my memory is not as good as it was): Small frame-172.5 Medium frame175 Etc However i ride 170 on my medium MTB
  15. 300 riders It is a conservation area
  16. Guys... and Girls... I have helped design and ride the route... it is super sweeeeeeet! Seriously about 80% single-track/jeep-track ( you need to be alert all the time)... and the views are amazing... its hard to believe that it is so close to JHB... It is very technical and there is a lot of climbing in only 40km (one climb peaks at 24%!... that whole climb of about 1000m has an average gradient of 14% and it is technical!) You can enter by following this link entrytime...
