  1. They won't close. They're like the bike supermarket vs your local butcher or deli. Ask most non cyclist where to go for bike related stuff, at least in the northern suburbs, and they'll say CWC.
  2. With no wear to your disk
  3. So heavier, more gears but less range??? And it's not for a eBike? I don't get it. For me it screams eBike
  4. @Andrew, do you guys have a customer satisfaction policy? I bought the platinum bib Saturday in 2XL as it fits and was recommended as better. But the chamois is so small today's first 15km was agony. My insole bib chamois is about 4cm wider... I wouldn't mind swapping for the ergonomic bib if the chamois is wider. Please advise
  5. @andrew, Any chance for a size 10 kids riding shorts sent to the Cpt branch. Was there on Saturday to get me some platinum bibs and shirts for the kids, but my daughter is still without shorts and i do not see any online
  6. And how much does that cost?
  7. Hi, Does anyone know of the process for Oakley warranties? I bought my jawbreaker 2 years ago (-1 day) and found this morning while trying to change lens the nose bridge mechanism broken. I bought them from traildemon.co.za who was active on here but the website doesn't exist anymore and the email I sent was returned... Thanks
  8. The corridor bridges might be tricky for smaller bikes. I know my daughter is not yet ready for them
  9. I see XLG is a XXL. I'm a size 40 pants, so you reckon a XXXL assos would be ok. That's their TIR if I googled right
  10. Thanks for your comment as it is not often I find one i can relate too size wise. I have often found it difficult to get the size right with euro brnad being also around 123kg and 1.9m. What size do you go for in giordana or assos?
  11. Saw a neat trick on youtube for that. If you remove the valve core and put the valve at 6 o'clock, you can use a cable tie as a dip stick to check how much sealant if any you have, without unseating the bead...
  12. Check the range from Signal. My daughter has the 24' and it's great
  13. Spoken to Janos. Seems they have last week but nothing on my account yet.I was checking for site credit though as I thought it would be a site credit. Good on them. I shall spend it with them anyway
  14. They never emailed and it doesn't show on the website. I'll follow up monday. Thanks
  15. I think they were still waiting for the money
  16. And I am still waiting for EVO to be credited back for the tyres so I can get my refund/credit with them... Can you please check that internally? It's been over 2 months now
  17. I can say I do not understand all the moaning. I can say I am part of the 95% of people the Tygerberg club has build trails for. They are not begging anyone for membership. If some people want to get something different why not create yourself a Tygerberg Extreme Downhill club, go negotiate rights with the land owners, find yourself members and sponsors, raise money and build them trails. Heck if you raise enough you can even put in a lift to the top... It's like joining a tennis club and complaining they do not have a squash court...
  18. Totally. I know first hand that you have to be on top of the QC when manufacturing in the east. You can get quality if you stay on top of them
  19. I agree it is a very good design and nothing else in 45mm... that's why I got them in the first place. I think it is a good tyre, just the quality control needs to be strengthened
  20. The rear tyre was sent back to Evo who will reimburse me. PM re the front one
  21. In my case it was 4 bars on road only (training for argus).
  22. Well says 3 to 5 bars on the tire....
  23. If that helps I was running 4 bars. Look you're presence here was one of my deciding factor and I liked the profile of these tire. Unfortunately tire failures can have a dramatic consequence. Also seeing the issues on all the tires offered as replacement does not inspire confidence which is why I have decided not to keep the front tire on. So I'll be reimbursed for the failed one but still out of pocket for the almost new other one....
