  2. Spook Heuwel in Somerset West? I walk up there!
  3. Wireless brakes as well?
  4. I am with you on this one. Some of these guys think is uncool or too slow. One thing is certain - the road with the bus lane is a lot narrower than before, and its their choice to be stupid and get killed on the road. They wil only have themselves to blame! BTW, I love the lane. I get a puncture every now and then, but you weigh up the options...?!
  5. Just my 2c. If the tubbie is new, mount it on the wheel dry and inflate it to about 6 or 7 bar. Leave it on for a couple of hours or overnight. This stretches it a bit and will make the mounting easier after you put the glue on.
  6. Its my birthday today and I want a selle italia slr kit carbonio flow in black. Coming to get it later. Make me a good deal.
  7. You should put that trick in the Cycling Bible! Good one LOL
  8. I hint to her all the time, but she ignores me. I will have my revenge. Her birthday is in two weeks time and I am getting her a new ironing board.....
  9. Guess what my wife got me...... a Bob Marley CD and some winter clothes from Woolies And here I couldnt sleep last night imagining a nice Assos shorts, or maybe some Sidi shoes waiting for me this morning. I guess I will have to go out and spoil myself again this year. CWC here I come!
  10. Or go for the Easton EC90SL clincher. They are 38mm deep, so should be fine for most cape town conditions.
  11. My advice - Stay away from anything deeper than 32mm.
  12. How does it work that Mr.Price puts him in the team but he has to pay for himself? Whats the purpose of riding for a sponsored team then?
  13. I know the cl24 has a tubless compatible version. I would go for that.
  14. i like it. No weight penalty, in fact I saved 40g on regular gp4000s tyres and tubes. With slime in them you a virtually puncture proof. Its like riding tubular without the tubular problems. If you do puncture simply put in a tube. Lower tyre pressures gives a more comforable ride and its now believed to impove rolling resistance. It just feels better. And if you dont like tubeless, you have lost nothing because you can just pop on normal clinchers with no penalty.
  15. You have to go for tubeless! Try fulcrums 2 way fit. I recon tubeless is the way to go really, or at least something that givs yo that option. So your choices are really shimano cl24 tubeless fr fulcrum 1 or zeros.
  16. That frame is 125g less than mine. With Zipp 303's and Super record and zero gravity brakes it is 6.4kg. I dont belive yours is sub 6kg. Unless your frame weighs 825g with the fork.
  17. I'll believe that weight when i see it on a scale According to my calcs it will be around 6.3kg. Anyway, I want a set of thoe wheels! Talk to me.
  18. How many times do you guys wanna go over the same stuff. Yawn...
