I agree the story sounds fishy. My problem is i cannot accuse anyone without having proof. And if i dont pay the reward doesnt matter if it were them or not; They know where i stay and they know the system and complex inside out. They can make things difficult and target me...

Guys my bike has found his way home. Sad thing is there are some extensive damage. I have already taken the bike at my LBS to do a full assesment.

Would love to see it for myself. My cadence on my polar was never even close to that. But then again i am just a below average jogger.

Im not a serious runner and also very slow when it comes to running. I am very happy with my VFF. Back in the days when i ran with normal shoes i constantly battled with shin splits, stress fractures and plenty running injuries. Since i moved to vibrams i havent had any problems. The transition was a very long process but worth every minute.

No, I still need to get a copy of the case file from the police station. This will only be on friday when i back in midrand. Guess the claim will take a while. The sad thing is even if they pay out in full it cannot bring my bike back.

I have already spoken to the HOA and have offered a reward to the gaurds at the gate for any valueble information. I will put a picture at the gate as well on friday once im back at home.

Only contractors was joburg water but according to the security log they left at 4:33. Which was before i washed my bike. I dont know anymore.

Thanks for the support guys. Sadly nothing has shown up yet. Our estate cameras at the gate doesnt show anything of the bike. The bike is either still somewhere in the estate which i doubt or it has left the complex in a closed van or on the back of a bakkie. Sadly the cameras at the gate mostly point at the driver face and numberplate of the car.

Yes it was insured, But the insurance claim will be delayed as i need a copy of the police case statement and i am out of town this week. Apparently my insurance company want the complete report and not just the case number.

No as a rule i dont I washed the bike left it ouside to let it dry. When i went back to put it inside it was gone.
