  1. What was the main reason for the postponement and how many paid up entries did they have. I know he said earlier the week they had 140 registered teams but how many were paid up. and Will they consider dropping the entry fee for the non-pro's who have absolutely no change of winning.
  2. Eish that just made my gearing sound even smaller than what it is. 32 x 18 for me. But I'm cool with my small gear.

  7. Not if we start at the M&B in the east rand or at escapees possie maybe Dipsy would also join then.
  8. Two things: 1. I have never been to suikerbos rand 2. Or we can do a east rand ride of 100+ km with only 300m of climbing.
  9. Good fun to ride if you are a natural born athlete ... But less fun if you are a born couch potato trying to keep up.Next time I take the scooter and then we can check how good the steel bike can keep up.

Did you noticed that you can now export from the flow website. Open a exercise. Scroll to the bottom of the page. You will find two buttons. One to export the session and one to remove the training. Once you click on export session you get two options. one for Route only and one for the complete training.

I saw somewhere that the inactivity alert is scheduled for one of the firmware updates. It will then vibrate on 50 min of inactivity but will only display the inactivity message on the software after 60 minutes of inactivity

Hi Izak, Yes I previously had the 725 then the RS800CX and now have the V800. I actually prefer that all my data is stored online as my PC with Protrainer has recently crashed and I have lost all my training history. I'm currently using the below site to extract the data from the Polar flow website. http://flowexport.callcenter.pl/flowexport/ The only thing to remember is that the exercise needs to be set to public. To get the exercise code: you open the training in flow and copy the code from the URL Then click on the Get data to download the tcx file. I love my V800 and in my opinion it is a lot better that the two previous units I had. You can find a list of planned firmware updates here http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2014/09/behind-scenes-polar.html Looks like your android app will be available in December.

Sorry but I don't see why the reason why you stripped your "moer". You can still sync all the data and everything via the cable. You knew before you bought your unit that the android app will only be available later on.
  16. Have a look at the Polar V800 topic https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/134877-new-polar-v800-now-available/ The V800 has all the features of the RS800CX with a couple more including a GPS. There is also a couple of exporting tools available should you want to import it to strava or any other 3rd party software.

Will go and play with it later tonight http://www.dcrainmaker.com/tools Miss Swiss You can rest now as they will fix your swimming distance soon.
  18. Just a question: lets say I am allergic to nuts. How much nuts do I need to get in to get an allergic reaction... Not a lot. Ok so I am allergic to Cat hair, I don't even have to touch the cat I just need to go into a room where the cat has been to show a reaction. My guess the smallest quantity will show up in your bloods.

  23. MaXiMuM Have a chat with the Sheriff. Important things that I will consider from one lady rider to another lady rider 1. A good ladies saddle 2. Stand over height 3. A proper setup 4. The bike must look appealing to the lady rider. 5. You don't have to go for a ladies specific bike and lastly a nice outfit ... she needs to look and feel good

Sjoe, that looks very sore. I have a few questions, Please don't get me wrong. On the other thread it seems like the kid was riding the 50 km distance as the incident happened at about the 25 km mark. 1. What was the kid doing on the 50 km race. He looks about 10 years old. Isn't there a age restriction based on distance? 2. Why was he riding alone and where was his chaperon or adult supervision? 3. Why was he mixing it up with the big boys? From My experience... Yes there are some guys who ride inconsiderate but as you go back in the field it calms down and people are more aware of other riders and do give way.

Hi Swiss, You can change your GPS recording session from Normal to "Power Save Long Session". You change this setting for each individual Sports profile that you have loaded. Tracking on normal GPS and Heart rate you should get 13 hours. Tracking HR and PGS on Power Save you should get up to 50 hours which is plenty time. If you still going by then you are half dead. :-)
