It sure is going to be exhilarating and daring at that time of year in Franschhoek. Even though it is on gravel roads it is going to be super dangerous.

Just outside Montague there is a dirt road that turns left and goes to the other side of Ladismith. About 165kms odd. Beautiful road. I could recommend it.

From Swellendam to George. Took just over 11 hours and a nights stop as per tent accommodation. Was a great ride. Bit long on the N2 but so be it. Back to Knysna in a day or two. Been a trip..

Robertson to Franschhoek. Lift from Villiersdorp to the top of the pass. It is closed. Luckily they let me through. A lot of rock falls. But they are busy on it. Last day tomorrow until I head back. Happy Wednesday everyone.

Any weather updates yet?

I have ridden in before. It was just taking too long. I had no desire to sleep there. Plus with luggage it stopped being fun. That was when I turned. I don't know if it will ever happen but I really hope they do something to fix that road up. It is an enjoyable ride.
